I'm also a little bit of a Red Arrows geek, my sons now the same, he's mad about them, he hates the noise of the airshow so much because of his Autism but will stay all day coping (well ok pretending to) just to see them, then asks to go home :rotfl: ! We were travelling down the south last year after the airshow, stopped at a services and the guy who ran the info tent for the Red Arrows spotted my son before he spotted them, must have remembered him from being the one who asked the most questions :rotfl:

How old are the twins pp and how do you manage? I met up with my cousins last week who had babies one week apart. None of us could imagine looking after twins. I was struggling to hold the two of them together!

Mine are 9 now so much easier than when they were babies..or toddlers for that matter.

I have to say though, I've noticed just how blissfully quiet the house has been this week whilst they have been at school!!

The first year of their lives passed by in a sleepless blur. And then the toddler years were filled with endless emptying of cupboards, fridges or anything else they could destroy, ripping off of or drawing on of wallpaper.

One of their favourite pastimes was seeing what they could flush down the loo.

Then there was the time they tried to repaint the bathroom, and when they tried to make a cake on the kitchen floor

    Aah the memories:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I've just got back from a jog around the tarn with them (not my intention to jog, but was trying to keep up with them on their scooters!)

50 mins til their bed time.. so warm milk, storytime and hopefully a bit of peace (and a glass of wine) will follow:D
Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j

    • [STRIKE]Make certain ALL the house clocks are saying the right time.. replace any batteries that need replacing![/STRIKE] Even did the car...
    • I think the children who have been most helpful today should decide what you are having for dinner.. and that doesn't mean a takeaway.. we will consider that for the weekend if you are doing a fabulous job!!! Maybe if they are big enough they can help or better still cook for you!!
Still got to make tea, do dishes and get stuff ready for work tomorrow, and also have a shower. Can't really be bothered to cook, so may resort to frozen chips...

Pigpen - once you've factored in the cost of accommodation against the fee charged - what's the job worth?

If it's worth doing then send him packing :D

OMG!!!   Is that a boy thing do you think? My neighbour's grandson did that. There is a fab email doing the rounds heading up 'When it's ok to say the F word' and there's a pic of 2 small boys painting a living room, incl the plasma tv  I printed it off and sent it as a get well card when he was in hospital. He nearly did himself a mischief with laughing :D
