i'm back! i've been xrayed within an inch of my life. they think there's 'slight' movement of the fixture but don't think it's affected the bone. i've got to go back tomorrow to get it xrayed again and if it's still in place i then have to go again on Monday to check it again. guess it could have been a lot worse but it's just so annoying.

pigpen - i hate it when dh goes away initially but i always get used to it very quickly. not sure i'd cope if i had 8 children though! xx

ok I have a medical question - yes yes I know youre not supposed to give medical advice but if you were ......

I suffer from hideously bd heel cracks. I have one massive cut on each heel ATM , they are excruciating. I;ve been walking on my toes all day and so not only are my heels agony but my calves are cramped too. What can I do to:
    a) heal the damn things, they keep cracking open again
    b) stop them from happening
I have tried CCS cream, vaseline, Scholls heel repair scream, foot files, exfoliators etc etc
Should I give in and go to the chiropodist ?
Do I need to wait for them to heal first ?

I use Aloe Vera Gel for all sorts. It speeds healing.
