Hubby has found a job he likes the look of.. but.. it is in Bath so he'd be away from home Monday to Friday.. would I manage without him???

Do I strike any of you as the simpering sort?

I'm sure you could manage, but would you be happy about it? Is it permanent, temporary? Is the money better? I think the most important thing is would you and the kids be happy?

    Evening all,
Phew what a day, all went to dentist where DD kept poking at her tooth until it was bleeding in the waiting room. Everybody's teeth fine and dentist left DD loose tooth in. Driving home the flipping tooth fell out, DD very happy but we couldn't find the tooth:confused: (to much rubbish in car) plus there is loads of white paper rolled in wee balls so they all look like teeth. So DD has done another letter to the tooth fairy to explain.:rotfl:

DS1's legs have flared up again so loads of cream and DS2 will not leave me alone, following me everywhere even to the toilet.

Haven't managed any of the list today but gonna do tomorrows tonight and then when DS2 is at playgroup i'll tackle the bathroom.

I remember my ones painting a window with poo and them painting themselves with nail varnish:mad: it was everywhere.

Mudbath hope all goes well at the hospital
Dusty have you many more seeds planted?, do you have then in or out in the ground?
Big hugs to all who are sick or just p*ssed off.

    List for tonight
    1)uniforms ready
2)BM on but it will be 12 before it's finished
    3)make some scones
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Evening everyone.

A quick catch up as Im off to bed soon. Pleased I went to the Pension Awareness session as I got a load of info thats made me rethink my retirement date. Eventually got home at 6pm. Have done some flying, WM on, vacumned and tidied a couple of hotspots. Cat fed and settled now, he has been so nervous lately. Working tomorrow so not much flying will be done.

Mudbath That stupid man! Hope your wrist hasnt suffered more damage and that you are not at the hospital for hours.

Hugs to everyone and if you are all having a wee drink later have one for me.

I'm sure you could manage, but would you be happy about it? We'd survive.. and after the first few weeks it would be normal and I'm sure it'd work out.. the older few might have to take ona bit more responsibility but I think they are old enough to understand that and have the responsibility
Is it permanent, temporary? permanent. we think.. it is a teaching position at a college so post 16
    Is the money better? yes!!
I think the most important thing is would you and the kids be happy? He might not be..

I was thinking.. accomodation wise .. a caravan would be cheapest option.. he could be a happy camper!! lol

He'd have to eat wherever he was.. and I could shop and he could take it back with him.. inc. HM meals if necessary.. and he isn't totally incompetant.. not 'totally'

It is all still theoretical though.. and there is no way I'd move down there.. not with the children doing GCSE work.

DD4 used to colour herself in.. usually with permanent marker.. we have loads of pics of a naked green Stig.. lol

She never wore clothes either from being about a year old until she was 3.5.. she has been known to 'lose' her knickers at school!!!!

Once I took her to school in the buggy, she was about 21 months it was pouring with rain.. she was wearing a bodysuit, a nappy, a t shirt a jumper, dungarees, tights, shoes, a snowsuit and was in the cosy toes.. with the rain cover down... when I got to school she was naked and all the clothes including the nappy were at the bottom of the footmuff.. I had to redress her before we could set off home!!! It was just before Tiddles was born so she might have been very nearly 2..

she also stripped in Tesco café once!!

Does anyone's teenager(s) have a contract phone? DD has a PAYG which her Dad is supposed to top up. I'm topping up more and more often. I'm thinking it might be more cost effective to buy her a contract. She's a sensible lass and I could trust her not to run up £100s on it. What does everyone think?

DS has a Contract phone since his DLA was renewed. It's his main source of social contact, so we thought it would be a good idea. He often put as much as £10 per week, or would run out of credit, so he's on Orange Dolphin for £35 per month. 600 minutes and unlimited texts. It's working well so far.

    Evening all

Finally kids all in bed - they all like to sleep in the same room in the holidays but often means they are late settling.

Mudbath - hugest hugs I so hope the news is good.

Vanilla - so far seeds are all in propegator - the veg patch is not ready and too wet at the minute. Hope to sow some more outside in guttering in the next day or too.

? for all DS1 is trying to think of an inventive way to measure the size or roundness of a stone as part of his fieldwork. We have come up with a couple of ideas but knowing how creative you lot are wondered if you have any ideas.

Mine poo painted their bedroom walls once when they were babies..boy did it take some shifting!

The first day they started nursery, they flooded the toilets. When the nursery nurse tried to get them out of the cloakroom, they jammed their fingers up the taps and soaked her to the skin.

I eventually started sending one to the morning session and one to the afternoon session to keep the peace.

    Pack-ups made
Kids in bed one asleep, one nearly asleep
Glass of wine firmly in hand
Looking forward to a productive day again tomorrow

Dusty i haven't even started yet with the veg, still have flowers in pots at the minute. Hubby had his nurse out the other day and i had a big tray sitting at the door with the pots on it the poor man had to climb over the top of it to get in:rotfl: so i think it's time i shifted it and done my veg.

    Pigpen PM'ed ya.

All is quite here now thank goodness but i need a good kick of this seat:rotfl:
