How old are the twins pp and how do you manage? I met up with my cousins last week who had babies one week apart. None of us could imagine looking after twins. I was struggling to hold the two of them together!0

aaaargh!
Sorry just needed to scream. Recorded Neighbours while cooking tea, just sat down to watch it but can't. The disc is now ruined, picture and sound keep breaking up. Technology is carp. We have 2 Panasonic DVD Recorders, both betweeen 1&2 yrs old. Can't get a decent recording with either. The first one keeps switching itself off and resetting, the second seems to be ruining the discs. We paid for a good make thinking they would last longer and work better. Where did I get that idea from? Don't really want to fork out for a new one at the moment but we record a lot for the kids etc. Enquired about renting £4.50 per week, all new Panasonics have digital tuners - which we can't get.
Sorry, Rant over!!!
Have you got sky SAV3R? I got sky plus after my DVD recorder started getting tempremental. I think its fab. I managed to get some cash back as well.0 -

tiamai / skintscotslass we don't have good enough reception here for freeview, its hit and miss whether we get them or not. Don't really want to take on the expense of Sky, I am trying to clear debts at the moment. We already seem to spend more than we earn.
Mudbath hope everything goes ok, and you don't have to wait too long.0 -

I know what you mean. I cant get freeview and my reception for BBC1 etc is appalling so I had to get sky. I've got naughty over the years tho, and added sky sports and setanta. Do you keep a spending diary?0 -
Evening all,
Just caught up with everything after my evening community meeting and what coincidence that a couple of you have mentioned the Red Arrows today. The meeting I was at was to discuss details about a function/lunch thing in August a group I'm on the committee of are planning to lay on when the Red Arrows are displaying in town in the summer. I am a firm and avid fan and geek so I won't bore you any more on that subject - it's just that I love it when a plan starts to come together.
Dusty, yes, the scaffolding has gone at last! I think the workmen's vans have been putting off the perp - there's been so many around lately they've not even bothered to try the road.
Hollyh - thanks for the hugs (and everyone else).
And Mudbath ! you poor thing! I hope you don't have to wait too long at the hospital and that you've not done any more damage. Though I understand about quite looking forward to having some time to continue your read. I also have to ask did you manage to do the snap shot thing?
Right, because I had a dreadful night last night and it's already gone 7pm and I'm pooped I am laying my flying wings aside this evening. I'm just going to do dinner and chill. I will do double the effort Weds night - I have another community meeting on Thursday evening at mine so I needmake sure everything is spic and span by then.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

skintscotslass I do try to keep track of our spending, and keep looking at ways to cut down, but everytime I make a saving somewhere, I seem to get an additional expense somewhere else. DH keeps laughing at me when we go shopping, it takes ages for me to decide whether to buy things, I am resisting lots since joining MSE.

My house smells like baby
A friend has just dropped off a load of her babystuff she doesn't need anymore as she was only going to send it to Oxfam anyways
So Johanne is going to be happy and there is the cutest little babygrow brand new with the tags on (£12  ) but that is the only thing that made me go awww. :rotfl: Its the smell now, that used but clean baby smell:rotfl:
Has anyone any ideas where I left my list?Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0
