PHEW!!! I got distracted, worked until, 2.45pm then noticed the time and had to near enough run to the school for DS2.........flung 3 bin bags so far inc 2 for recycling. Well chuffed with how much I have done.
Currently watching an old boss of DPs on the tele :rotfl: was really shocked when he just appeared on it! So that's me not working until it's finished!
Late lunch made and eaten, DP moaning for takeaway when he gets back, well I ain't buying so it's have something I made or buy it himself. Managed to get out of going tonightwohoooo I get a peaceful evening, well apart from dealing with the boys. Done most of the dailies, vacuumed through, cleaned doggy doos up, S&S bathroom, kitchen etc. House still looking pretty good.

Today I have...
Hoovered stairs
Cleaned bathroom-properly, tiles, floors, doors windows etc
Tidied up after kids
Made dinner for kids, shoved some re dpepper in to raost for mine
Not yet killed them even though they are being REALLY noisy and my head hurts
Can I make them watch a DVD in their bedroom now?
OK, I feel like carp again and my voice has pretty much gone walk abouts. Might try getting them tucked up next to me on the couch to watch Monkey buisness it usually shuts them up for a bit. If not, then it's jammies, bedroom and a DVD. Mummy is not well and it's tough. Mummy cleaned up after you two when you were not well and was kind so it's time to do the same for me.
Quick clean up while they have vanished to the room (by now it will be a room of doom).0 -

Its very easy.
Cut a red pepper into quarters, put on a baking tray with some olive oil, roast at about 180'c for 15-20 mins. Older peppers are quicker, fresh ones take a bit longer.
Slice up the peppers once roasted (you can remove the skin if you like, I dont bother and I like the taste of the burnt bits of skin)
Put in a bowl with more olive oil
Chop up some garlic, mix into the peppers, leave in fridge for as long as possible (I usually do it the night before) to let the flavous mix.
Cook your pasta, chuck some of the peppers on top, drizzle on some more garlicy oil or plain olive oil over the pasta.
And eat. It's up to you how much garlic you use. Serve with some crunchy salad with a vinegar dressing to balance out the olive oil. Or some nice bread.
DS1 is whinging so he is going to bed. I'm wondering when I can take more tablets... Jimmy and timmy are doing my head in. Hate cartoons!0 -
sharon - we make humous and freeze it and we're still alive (i think)
ow, ow, ow.....i was walking into a shop behind a stupid ape of a man, he turned round and saw me walking through and just let go of the door. i stupidly put my hand out to stop it hitting dd and have really, really, really hurt my broken wrist. taken pain killers and put it up on a pillow. i know the woman who owns the shop and she had a right go at the man...saved me having to. i am a bit worried at the external fixator looks a bit wonky.
consequently flying will have to be done when these painkillers kick in.

Chop them into chunks.. stir fry with .. mange tout, orange peppers, carrots, baby sweetcorn a splash of soy sauce, couple of cloves of garlic.. when cooked throw in thin cooked noodles and serve with salad... YUM!!
To die for.. and no pasta in sight! lol
This recipe sounded delicious...unfortunately I didn't have any baby sweetcorn..or peppers..or mange tout...or noodles!
I liked the ideas of the chinese flavour though so I went for salmon en papilote(sp!) with a chinese-ish sauce (ginger, garlic, lemongrass, corriander, soy sauce, seasame oil, chilli flakes, honey, lemon -basically at bit from each jar in the cupboard!)
I threw some spring onions, matchsticks of carrots, courgettes and kohl rabi into the parcels)
I was sure I had some noodles somewhere but the managed to elude me so I made this couscous salad to go with.

Mudbath owch! I hope he said sorry at least!!! Idiot!
Good on the shop owner having a go, I hate people who have no manners! Or common decency for that matter.
