Hi everyone.
How do you manage to keep up with the posts and do some much off your list.
It's my day off today, been to town this morning. Did the weekly shop in Morrisons, boys were a great help for a change. :T
We all had dentists check ups, got to go back for them Thurs. Still need to decide what to do abouth that, dentists starting to charge for kids from next month. Can't really afford to pay, but DS1 is terrified of going, he is going to need orthadontic treatment, so worried about going elsewhere.
Picked new trendy glasses for DS1 at opticians. Should be ready before he goes back to school.
Wanted to get a pressie for his mate - guitar accessories maybe?, The shop said it was open but door locked, did few other bits then tried again, note on door - back in a min. When we drove past on way home note still on door. How annoying is that?
Shopping all put away, cupboards nice and full.
BM on, why when you open a bag of flour does it go all over your nice, clean kitchen.
Just had a cuppa - now off to do bathroom.0 -
Am in for the half hour challenge - 5 minutes late!!

Just got in from pruning - I love prunning - I'll do a quick HHC - it could be my last bit of flying of the day knowing how I go down hill from 5:00 onwards. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

just in from taking dd tubing at the chill factor. it was fab. she's had a ball. will definitely go again with ds next time.
dd has just announced that she wants to go to grandma's to visit our dog who's staying there for a week, she's really missing her. it's a good 30 minute walk so i'll have to do my flying when i get back.
speak to you all later xx0 -
Carpet hoovered:j although I now need to take the capet cleaner up there - felt tip, playdough - you name it...
Since I created a big enpty space I thought it might be an idea to sort out the Duplo *groans* - no it was a silly idea and I have put on hold daft ideas like sort out the normal lego :rotfl: If they want to build something then they can just hunt through the tubs - maybe then they will learn to put it all back in one box?!
Will wait until DH is home before I start lugging furniture about.
WM,TD, WM, DW and coffee machine descaling (to stop me from stopping to have another!)
Tia - (without offending anyone) I think the problem comes in where they are taught Religious, Social and Moral studies - It is called something like that anyway. It is as though you cannot be morally or socially responsible without having a particular religion. DD1 wants to have a religion - because everyone else in her class does (you would think with red hair, glasses and a SAHM she would be used to being different!) I have told her that she should look at every religion and then when she is older she can choose which, if any she would like to belong to... Although DS1 asked the other day "does everyone die with nails in their hands?" he is 5 - if they are going to explain something - they could at least do it properly!!
Sorry that sounded like a bit of a rant - I seem to spend a lot of time suggesting other viewpoints to the little people... while doing my best not to influence them any particular way... just giving them as much info and alternative views - rather than there being one set way to "be a good person". I have confused myself now - off to think about something mundane!0 -
Men men men! They make me want to cut off their protruding bits and stick em in a blender!
Hubby is due to depart tomorrow am for Morocco by Land Rover. Parts which were ordered 2 weeks ago and are required to replace the broken bits still haven't arrived despite being assured they would be delivered yesterday and then again today. We almost got them last week but the delivery guy got his villages confused and couldn't find our house. Mutter mutter. When they do turn up they'll need fitting, probably in the dark.
Anyhow at 10:30 this morning hubby mentions he has toothache, just a niggle nothing worth worrying about. Knowing what his niggles are like I phoned the dentist manged to get them to squeeze him in between patients at 2pm and made him go. Now hes in bed having had a wisdom tooth extracted. Still have to pack because he hasn't quite finished and all the nipples on the Landie (yes Land Rovers have nipples) still need greasing. Suppose I'll go find me some overalls and get dirty again.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Suppose I should do the HHC now then???...

Chasingbutterflys, I think it's coming from the school. He came home the other day talking about 'The Muslim Family' saying that they might have a TV but no sky or xbox. I juts thought, what are they saying to them for him to come home thinking Muslims are not allowed to have sky and xbox's?
Pigpen, that's more or less my view. And he comes home with all these questions about the bible that I don't know! I sent him to his Aunt and Uncles with all his questions, they are christians and they answered them for him!! :rotfl:
Home now anyway. Gave the brats some fruit salad and then their last easter egg. I have :coffee: :T0 -
Banana bread baked and cooling, chocolate chip cookes baked too (and 2 each eaten). Yes I know I said banana muffins but decided on cookies instead. Might do muffins tomorrow. Had two helpers, niece, aged 10 and DD1. Been promising niece I'd bake with her for ages but just not got round to it. Used to have her over every so often to bake with me before DD1 born, but then you just get busy don't you.
Have roasted some peppers too and now decided to do risotto with roasted red peppers and mushrooms for tea. (Had soup instead for lunch as it got a bit late). Not following a recipe, just making it up as I go along. I'm sure it'll be ok.
Really need to run tonight - I wimped out last night and didn't even had a good excuse. Saying that, it is looking a bit windy and there's lots of grey clouds outside..... and I am definately going tomorrow with a friend....
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Off you go to grease your nipples moo2moo. Anyone else got nipples to grease on their list today?!?!?!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Aha - just figured out why I'm so snappy this week. AF due!0
