Sounds like the twins room. I'm sure their room suffers from localised tornadoes

I read that as localised tomatoes......I was very confused for a minute or two!

Hope you get on OK at hospital Mudbath.

Mudbath - I need to go to bed now before I fall asleep on the keyboard (that would not be a pretty sight!) so I'm signing out for the night. If you can, please let us know asap how the wrist is.

    Hugs

    evening everyone
thought for a wild and crazy change tonight I would post first, catch up later. So hugs and whatnot where needed, hopefully I will more specific in a mo.
Have had ok day today. Actually had my bathrooms (3:eek: - 1 family, 1 ensuite, downstairs loo) all done before 10.30 this morning, nothing short of a miracle.

Food wise has been dreadful LOL. A friend came over for coffee this morning with an enormous pack of biscuits. Normally I say thanks I will save them for the kids etc but she is having a bit of a bad time with the playground cliqueiness at the minute and I jiust wanted her to feel relaxed. So we scoffed loads  Anyway she left a bit happier I think so it was my good deed for the day. How selfless of me :D Met DH for lunch, went to our local carvery where we hadnt been for years. Scrummy:p and then for tea - I had pizza (HM of course) and leftover biscuits :o Oh well.

I tried really hard to rejig LO's feeds today. She had 3 decent meals, 2 decent breastfeeds and a bottle. Will be interesting to see what happens tonight.

? for all DS1 is trying to think of an inventive way to measure the size or roundness of a stone as part of his fieldwork. We have come up with a couple of ideas but knowing how creative you lot are wondered if you have any ideas.

You can work out the volume of the stone by putting it in water and measuring the displacement:confused:

Jill.. Have you tried wet wrapping???? A large gloob of vaseline or better still aqueous cream (dirt cheap at the chemist.. or free on script ;) ) and wrapped up with bandages.. same as you'd do for eczema. Or you could do what I did.. get a sharp craft knife, a pair of nail clippers and chop it all off down to raw flesh... Oh.. and an emery board to file off all the remaining bits!!! Yes I am a bit sick like that.. I did refrain from eating the bits of chopped off flesh though!!
believe me I have been down to raw flesh many many times. I am sick like that too LOL. I seem to have this thing where I think - oh if I rip off the hard jaggy bits so its all smoth it'll all be better - of course it never is, ripping off the jaggy bits just rips big lumps out of your feet  Thats why they're so flipping sore. Will think about the aqueous cream though and the bandaging. Better do it before summer arrives then or I'll roast in bed LOL

They are a wee bit better today, but I have run out of plasters so muct go to Asda tomorrow, Its costing me a fortune , it would be cheaper just to find a chirpodist.
How do I find an NHS one ?

Is it for Geography fieldwork? If so at what level? and what is he needing it for?

I ask because DS1 did some fieldwork on beaches for his A level and measuring the stones was part of it and then linking that to erosion. Mind you that was about 10yrs ago now
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.
