Not a particularly productive day so far work wise, I've been footering about mostly. Working from home isn't all it's cracked up to be. I am a terrible stop/start/stop kind of person. Easily distracted and sidetracked would best describe me!!
OH came home for lunch and i footered even more as extra dirty dishes to wash up!
Still, a fair few household tasks done so thats good

Pigpen - I need a kitchen, two bathroom suites, and new carpets throughout, without even starting on the features I want to put back in. DH has most of this week off work so hopefully a few things will progress this week. Good luck with the e-bay stuff.
The kitchen was the first thing we did.. it was disgusting and I hated to use it, the units were falling apart the work surfaces were rotten and the floor was stinking of dog pee.. I couldn't get it clean.. now it is lovely.
Then we did the front room.. the floor needs replacing still but it'll wait until the carpet needs replacing.
The bathroom we knocked down and moved a wall which meant the boys room we had just decorated now needs doing again.. and has done for a year!! the leaking gutter had caused all the plaster to fall off 2 walls and the first couple of floorboards so that was all drylined and replastered. We added a loo to the bathroom and it is looking nice in there now..few finishing touches needed when finances allow.
Our room hasn't been touched, nor has the girls room but the leaking gutter means it all needs replastering. The hallway floor needs replacing and some of the joists. We are hoping to tile the floor.. I want underfloor heating in our room so we can free up a wall by removing the radiator, and hubby wants underfloor heating in the hallway, we already have it in the kitchen and it is fab!. DS1's room had 2 huge boilers which we replaced with one small one last September... so that needs decorating and a new carpet now.. in time..
Biggest job.. we are doing a loft conversion.. eventually!!
There is so much to do and so little spare cash!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

25% off Chester Zoo at lastminute.com (hope this link works - first time I've done it like this)! We got a 2 for 1 voucher for Chester Zoo only about 6 weeks ago but can't seem to find it now. I think it was through UK attractions but the offers aren't on their website anymore.
Edit: Don't think its working - try this: http://www.lastminute.com/site/entertainment/daysout/event-product.html?eventID=470785346-1&catID=95187
Jill - My friends baby is 10 months and still waking twice! H.V. suggested increasing the calorie content of his means - e.g. adding cream to custard, rice puddings, cheese sauces, etc. She may be getting enough quantity of food but not enough quality (calorie-wise). Also, mine always had an afternoon bottle at 2.30pm - only about 5oz so they would still eat tea and also try morning snack too. Its a bit of trial and error I think. DD1 always took last bottle no probs but DD2 would only take a couple of ounces so we started getting her up for her last feed at 11pm, giving her 2oz, then letting her had 1/2 hour kick on playmat, then give her another 3oz which she'd take after a little play. Then she'd sleep through. Could also try giving her supper just before bed after her last bottle - maybe a bit of ready brek. She may just go right through then. Good Luck!
So far today I have:
Swept and mopped the kitchen
WM x 2
DW x 1
HHI
Wiped the worktops
Off to make tuna pasta bake for tea now then going for a run tonight.
See you all later. x0 -
Jill.. mine were always up for supper as well.. some had a weetabix before bed, other had porridge or sometimes I was dead naughty and stuffed a rusk in the bottle.. especially for DS3 who didn't eat food until he was over 2.5 .. I would put loads of stuff in his bottles.. lol.. it was like stew in a bottle! .. obviously he was never left unattended when feeding so it didn't really matter... and he choked on everything anyway.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

I need a hand with this bed.. I can't manage it upstairs on my own.
I need the boxes out from under the bed before I can dismantle it
I need sll this ebay stuff sorting through... I don't mind doing the listings but I do mind doing all the sorting... 11 boxes is a bit much!
One thing at a time then..
I have just finished cleaning the cooker.. it looks wonderful, I don't think it has been this clean since it was new!! I even scrubbed the knobs.. all 11 of them!!! And scraped the icky bits off everything.
Job number 1...
Move the stuff from under DD4's bed and put it.. under DD3's bed..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
