Please may I be excused duties today? DS2 gave me the lurgy and I can't stand up without getting v dizzy. Boys are 'looking after me' - will be glad to do to work and be ill in peace tomorrow. I have made myself do DW, and WMx3 before we sink in mess. Such a waste of a lovely sunny day.
skintscotslass - we got DSS1 a contract phone for his 16th birthday - £90 cashback from quidco made it cheaper than his current PAYG spendrate. Was going well until his second months bill came in at £57 over his contract amount. Can't switch the contract off, and can't cap the DD. If he goes over next month then we will take it off him full stop and buy him the cheapest nastiest PAYG I can find.
   Who or what was he phoning????
Hope you feel better soon xx0 -
ok I better go sort through all the jigsaw puzzles and games and find the missing bits
Yes I have been putting this job off!!!!!!!0 -

Oh dear, I'm sorry to hear that.0 -
With the contracts you get nowadays you would be hard pushed to go over your allowance for texting and talking, the only warning i have is dont let her use the internet. It costs a fortune on a mobile:eek:The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Ooooh, thanks. I collect old mobiles and let them collect dust. I'm frightened that if I give them away my mob will stop working. No, I cant work out my logic either0 -

thanks - really feel carp now, waiting for DH to come home so I can slope off to bed.
DSS1 was ringing GF of the week I think, plus more texting than I would have believed possible. He has a small number of jobs to do next time he visits us. and no bedroom. Two can play at lack of consideration - we have pinched his room, and our room is unlikely to be airtight before Friday. Taking the plaster off and exposing the stone gable wall complete with crumbled mortar means a number of strong drafts.
The biggest bill we ever manged was spending three weeks in Australia with DH ringing his boys at 7pm UK time each day as they didn't know we were away. Was about £100.
Pigpen - I need a kitchen, two bathroom suites, and new carpets throughout, without even starting on the features I want to put back in. DH has most of this week off work so hopefully a few things will progress this week.
