  • Your kitchen is lovely pigpen! Nice and bright with all those windows:D I'm not jealous at all:o

Snap! my thoughts too - the kitchen is the one room I would love to be bright. It gets a bit of sun in the morning and the blinds are pulled up all the time - may as well take it off the wall :rotfl:

I am soooo jealous of all those windows!

    Good evening all.

Hugs to the sickies and welcome to the newbies.

Dusty - thank you for the welcome home :D Journey wasn't too bad with the road works. I left a little bit earlier than normal this morning and they've only coned off one lane on each side of the shortest dual carriageway you've ever seen and had no problems - same on the way back, but it's only day one and the children are still on hols. As long as it's only blocking off one lane of the dual carriageway, it should be OK

JillD - hugs on the lack of sleep. I breast fed both of my two and they never had a bottle - they wouldn't take it. So, they both went straight on to a feeder cup. Have you tried that rather than a bottle?

Pigpen - I love your kitchen.

Mudbath - you dirty stop-a-bed you! The van was still there when I got home but there was just enough room for me to swing in because no-one was parked opposite - if they had been, it would have been tricky. As to the snapshot, I think I've recreated at home what you did. I suspect you got the little popup picture and then clicked the blue link at the bottom of the frame? If so, then you shouldn't have clicked the little blue link! Once the picture is up, right mouse click on it and a little save as box will pop up which will allow you to save the pic to your pc. If that's not what you did, then let me know exactly what you did do and I'll investigate a bit more.

Right, well I now need to start flying. The place for some reason has managed to magic itself into a real tip. But, I'll do the kitchen. I had to do some admin when I got in - driving to work this morning I suddenly realised I hadn't done my VAT return  it's due today - thank goodness I can do it online so that's the first thing I did when I got in ~phew~

There is a little tub left over .. I'll pop it in the fridge for you (If you haven't claimed it by tommorrow though I may just have to have it for my lunch) :D

Well kids and hubby fed, washing up done, I just need to put all the dishes away and clean the hob..again!

glad you managed to get into your drive. did the flat tyre spell work on the black van??

i eventually got up, did exercise, cleaned list (did all list) and then a friend asked if i wanted to go to the pound shops with her. dd's birthday a week on saturday so i went along and got a few bits for her and also got lots of 29 cards. very happy.

going to have scampi and chips for tea with a glass of wine.

    i've had a lovely day:rotfl:

    hugs to all poorlies
    hugs to g&b xx

a little bit about me: my name is claire, i am very unorganised and could really do with using this website as a daily challenge. i say challenege because i find housework very hard lol. i do it, but i'd rather not. this seems like a fun way of getting it done though. :)

      1. Clear and wipe the table
      2. Load the dishwasher (DW) if you have one
      3. Can you fill the washing machine (WM) with things that are all the same colour and switch it on?? This is a very important thing to learn.. many big clever daddies struggle with this job.. even our daddy.. so if you can do this.. you are cleverer than him!
      4. If you are a bigger little person could you wipe over the fronts of the kitchen cupboards and fridge/freezer/washing machine.. sometimes you need to check the insides too as they get a bit sticky..
      [/strike]
Feel like i have been a bit half hearted today. Kids still off school but OH has gone back to work, first time in two weeks. I have therefore been a lazy mare and caught up on my tv programmes and generally vegged out.
