Right, I think I can stop running around like a loon for tonight now or is that a typical head for a single mother?
DD in bed and reading "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" - she's only got 52 pages to go  She wants to see if she can get it read by her birthday on Saturday as she wants to start reading book 6 then! She should manage it no problem as she's read about 50 pages over the weekend if not more!. Not bad for a 6-turning-7-on Saturday-year-old :rotfl::rotfl: She's read the entire series herself so far, only taken her 2 years to read the 5 books (yes you did read that right, she started reading Harry Potter just as she turned 5) , but she does her school reading as well (read a number of Roald Dahl books, and the complete updated Mr Men Collection!) and other ones she has on her bookcase

Hello, trying to catch up on the thread :rotfl:decided to post while it's still Monday and catch up later
Hope you are all well xx big hug for those who need one xx
Royal visit :rotfl: seemed to go well, took constant work to get the place how I wanted it. Everyones now been warned if they mess things up I will **do time** for my actions!!! Of course haven't done most of upstairs, bedrooms are our bedrooms, had no intention showing them round up there. So of course my room is still a poo hole but.....
I have a wardrobe, woooohooooo!!!! It's only taken him all day, aswell as needing help, but anyway it's done!!! Oh and that flipping computer chair, the arms have snapped off, so that's going back to Argos!
Shame Chester doesn't take the Tesco Deals any more, good idea looking for vouchers if not. Would agree a great value day out, we ended up having to choose what we didn't want to see the second time, after missing lots the first time, because we just ran out of time to see everything. DSs aren't great walkers at the best of times so just added to the lack of time to get round. There is a brilliant childrens play area if the weather is nice aswell. Agree with the food being expensive, definately worth taking some with you. They had lockers which were large last time we were there, maybe handy for putting the laptop in to save carrying it? Of course double check with them incase that's changed, no idea how much it was.
Just catching up with ebay packing, something I didn't want to get out when they were visiting. Oh and it's an Ebay 5p insert day on the 3rd
http://www2.ebay.com/aw/uk/200803.shtml#2008-03-31144009One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Right, I think I've done as much as I'm going to do flying wise today. I have some ebay sales to pack ready for the post office. DS wants an early dinner (we generally don't eat until 9pm) as he's off out to the pub so I need to do a stir fry. I'm also out to a community meeting straight from work tomorrow so probably won't be home until about 7pm so need to get ahead with tomorrow night's dinner too.
So what have I done on the official list in my short time?

Evening everyone.
Been lovely and sunny here. Went to the gym first thing then to a nearby store and got a bargain. A Black computer/office chair for £19.99. DD helped put it together. Its much better than the diningchair Ive been sitting on. Went to see mum later and she is fine.

right, going to s/s bathroom as they're coming home first thing and will need showers. when they get back i'll wash everything they took, give them showers and then give bath and sink a rinse. not felt this relaxed in ages xx0 -
vivw - might be worth ringing a few removal firms, business is a bit thin at the mo so they may do odd item pick-ups if they are in the area. (Helps to pay the lads wages)
I've finished putting the washing up away and slung some cupcakes in the oven.
All the washing is in from the line and dry bar about 4 things.
The next job is the twins pack-ups and I may do HHI later.
I think that will about do it for today, the windows will have to wait til tomorrowTwins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0 -
