Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.

Another problem how do you get a 3metre length of worksurface home in a car? It seems from the web site its either that or order for delivery and wait 5 weeks.....help!!!!
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

  • Amazing what can be done in an hour after school/work when you have help - even if only aged 5!

    Childrens list.
    1. [strike]
    2. Load the dishwasher (DW) if you have one[/strike]
    3. [strike]
    4. Can you fill the washing machine (WM) with things that are all the same colour and switch it on?? This is a very important thing to learn.. many big clever daddies struggle with this job.. even our daddy.. so if you can do this.. you are cleverer than him![/strike]
    5. [strike]If you are a bigger little person could you wipe over the fronts of the kitchen cupboards and fridge/freezer/washing machine.. sometimes you need to check the insides too as they get a bit sticky..[/strike]
Also wiped down all the paintwork around 3 doors, and the doors, reorganised the open shelves and got agreements to help when I "do" the insides of the big cupboard next week! And stray Lego and shoes rehomed happily and correctly.:D

And apparently my Flyboy needs a list to clean his playhouse next week when he is home. As his reading isn't that good yet, I think some clipart might be in order to design him something to help sort out his playhouse ready for the playing season! ;)
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Welcome lil Claire, you'll find even if you do just one thing on the daily list, you'll feel better for it - and your place will look better for it too

Mudbath - no, it doesn't look like the flat tyre spell worked - maybe it was the garlic I've got positioned around the place that warded it off

Unfortunately no....thats the problem. However have just noticed that the guy across the road has a 4 by 4 and had a roof rack - would that hold it?

I think most van hire places will do a 4 hour hire - or at least they did when we last needed one!

eta - I suggested this as I cannot think how to fit one in/on a car!

ok I am so blonde... just checked the length of my car and it might manage it - what size car do you/ does your neighbour have?
