    Hi folks

I hope you are all having a good day, ironing done, plenty of snow in choccie button land!

Much to their annoyance the cats have just both been combed, now hiding from me behind the sofa.

Roast chciken and veg for lunch.

Off to watch the F1 now

    Take care

Just treating myself to a sit down and a catch up.

viv fridges between 2-5 degrees, depending on time of year, and freezers about -18.

jill hope you have a fab time on hols - you really deserve it after all that running around.

embb don't spend too much at Dunelm - i can't go in without spending at least £100 - good job we only go when we are redecorating.

lil-me yay to your DS1 for his achievement. It is lovely to see them do a new thing whatever the age.

well DH is still out, although i am expecting the peace to be shattered soon. I can't believe how minging the house is now i have looked closer - i realised that it was before Easter that i last hoovered the stairs as there were bits of DS's easter crafts in the hallway. I can't say i did a fantastic job of what i did, but my back was hurting and no point going too mad when the carpet fitters are here tomorrow and then DH will need to be moving furniture again, and then up in the loft.

Also did a clean of the bath and sink - did the loo the other day when i was sick and that was so minging too. I think i need to make sure i follow the lists to the letter for the next few weeks.

I think a lot of the problem is how tired we have been though to be honest, and how much running around with being away last weekend and selling the car finally this weekend.

I am going to do a list of shame so i will do it.
    • cat food/flea treatments are in a box in the hall, and have been since Tuesday. need to get DH to put food in garage.
    • under sink cupboard needs a drastic tidy - flea treatments can then go in there, and also i can then put away things like the bottle of disinfectant on the side which has been there 3 weeks.
    • i need to take a bag of bottle tops into work so they can be recycled for charity
    • i need to sort the toys out - moving some upstairs, and the toy box back to its home - it has all been in the wrong place since the TV guy came on Tue 24/03.
    • the bathroom wall DH tiled is still covered in grouty finger marks that need cleaning off.
Small list of shame to start me off.

    Hi all

So far this morning I have:
    Cleaned Oven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    wm x1
    td x1
    Sorted washing
    Ironed what need it!! doh
    Prepared veg
Stuck up Disney Princess stickarounds in dd2's room.

Stopped for tea and check up on here and Facebook - I don't really get it either. people keep sending me things that I sign up for, I'll get there eventually. What is freaking me out though, is I am owned by some bloke (my photo). It is really quite freaky!!!

Off now to B&Q and homebase to get lots of carp on kitchens. Then back home, beef in oven, sort out remortgage papers and look through kitchens. I WILL GET THIS SORTED!!!!!

Must do dd1's homework and read book, Nicki - she is 6 as well and throws tantrums like that ALL the time. It is prob hard for her re dad but, they are also very clever at manipulating situations. My friend went through the same thing a couple of years ago and her kids were the same. Not saying your dd is doing this, but hope you are having a better day today. As far as spending all that time on her bedroom, ditto. I took a week off, had a wall put up, painted, bought 2 lots of new bedroom furniture, carpet, bedding etc and she asked me if she could have a new bratz doll!!!! When I said no she said she doesn't get anything!!!! You just could, couldn't you! lol

    Right better get going.
Need to sort my life out! :T

And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.

    Afternoon!
Managed yesterday to sort out DD2's bedroom following the marathon of DD1s room the day before!
Spent the evening ironing and putting clothes away - now only the stuff that's not quite dry to do!!
We have snow too - DD1 and DS have been out to play. DD2 is SOOO like me, "it's cold and wet - can I stay inside!!!!!". Will all go out to play later though!
Today I need to make some muffins, finish washing and get ready for me to go back to school tomorrow (kids back on Tuesday).
    See you later!
Hugs to all in need! Raspberry and choccie muffins ready later (say about 3, and I'll put kettle on!!)

It's taken me two days to catch up reading the thread!!

Happy belated birthday to embb and nicki's DD!

Jill - have a great holiday. My sister went last year and they had a wonderful time.

Pink fairy - no advice, but I think you're doing the right thing.

I've been doing minimal flying this last week, and catching up where I can, I really don't know how you lovely flyladies who work full time manage it - I've been busy this week, but still not full time, and I've been struggling.

I'm stll really tired - DD left on her Big Trip to India at 4.30am yesterday morning, and I was so worried about waking up in time that I didn't sleep at all. Then, she texted me to tell me that the flight was delayed for two hours - they finally left nearly three hours late. Means getting into Delhi very late (or very early in the morning), but at least some sleep before her first full day of sightseeing in Delhi.

It's been sleeting and snowing all day, and I'm really fed up. I have been looking forward to getting out in the garden and the allotment, and it's just too horrible. On the plus side, OH has now emptied all the big plastic bags of his clothes and put them away in the new wardrobe - it still has one door to be fitted, but that can wait until DS1's coursework project is finished. His teachers are pretty useless, so OH and I are supervising his work.

Off to finish cooking lunch now, and then I may spend some time this afternoon looking for a holiday for us in August, or curl up with a book my friend brought over on Thursday - the new Patricia Cornwall. I haven't read any of hers before.

    Have a happy Sunday everyone.

Hi ladies, Hope all ok as dont have time to catch up with everyone.

No snow here, although OH (who was on night shift) said it snowed loads during the night but nothing here now.

Have this morning managed to strip our bed, sorted some of DD's clothes for a friend and emptied/reloaded dishwasher.

    Thats it !

And now I have to get DD some roast lunch before I go to work for 3 o clock.

    Will crack on

    See ya later

Floors in kitchen and breakfast room mopped before kids got up. DD2 woke up , discovered it had snowed and disappeared off in pjs, dressing gown, sox, gloves and wellies to liberate the chickens so they could have some fun. Reappeared 5 minutes later soaking wet having filled her wellies with snow because she couldn't find a bucket. Trail of wet muddy melting footsteps follwed her entry into the house. She and the dog have been in and out like yo-yos all morning. Floor looks worse than it did before I mopped. Sometimes you really wonder why you bother.

Have emptied and cleaned 4 kitchen cupboards so far, avoiding doing the larder but I'm not going to let myself shop until all the cupboards have been cleaned.

Still have to play hunt the PE shoe ready for school on tuesday.

You know.. it took my about 14 attempts to get that post done last night.. and hubby said don't post that.. but I did type it on his lappy which I struggle typing on anyway so it wasn't too bad.. lol I just made more spelling errors inthe last sentence than I did that post!!
