    Morning all

We have lashings of snow - a good inch or so on table/grass etc. Kids all disappeared down the street.

Soappie - I have no idea about the ebay thing. To me it would depend on how good a friend it is. If they do win and you let they pay less remember your ebay final fee will be based on that selling price. If they are happy to bid on it at that price from a stranger I would want to pay a friend the same amount.

Lil_me so pleased for your DS and the football and I so believe what goes around comes around - made me smile

Nikki hope your DD's dad manages to smooth the situation, well done you for recognising what is going on

Vanilla hope things go better for you today

Jill the centreparcs in Holland are not always easy to find. Do you have satnav? Ours works over there which is great if not you definitely will need a detailed map, have a fab time. We booked a villa with bedlinen, I know it costs more but we will need to take ski stuff for the snow dome when we go.

To me cupcakes are flat with the top of the case and iced. Muffins spill over (muffin top) and are not iced. Most receipes use oil in muffins and hard fat in cupcakes but that is just my version of life.

Right to the shower and I am in the mood for striking - watch my list disappear.

Morning all, glad we had some flyladies winning on the Grand National. I won £24, wish i'd backed them each way though as i managed to pick all 4 top horses:rotfl:
Is a horrible day here, was snowing earlier apparently, i was sleeping:confused:
Is now sleeting, nice, just getting ready to roll about in the mud for 80 minutes:eek:

    Morning all

We had a little snow here this morning but it's all melted now and the sun is shining.

One load of washing, but I've draped it round indoors, it's still cold out and the clouds are coming and going.

Vacuumed right through downstairs, emptied all the indoor bins.

Prepped everything for roast dinner which I'm just about to start cooking.

    Well done to lil-me's DS

    Can't remember anything else.....

    Morning everyone,
Lil_me thats great about DS and ha ha to your old neighbors, it is so true about what comes around goes around i love that saying.

    Jill have a lovely time.

    Embb enjoy your shopping trip.

Nicki hope DD settles down for you, a friend of mine has the opposite problem, just her and her DD for years and then she meet someone and moved in. The DD has turned into a total nightmare for the fella.

It was snowing here at 1am pretty heavy but not much left here this morning.

    Dusty thanks, i'll be fine.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Morning everyone!

It snowy here this morning too. What a pity, I was going to go running this morning - can't possibly go in the snow as I might slip - Oh well, just have to stay in my arm chair nice and warm!

Soapie - Thanks again for the Brit trip codes! :T

Lil'me - Yay to your DS:T Bet he's dead proud of himself!

Jill - Have a nice holiday - We've not been away for that long too so I know how excited you must be!

    And:j :j :j :j :j We won £58 on the Grand National!!!!:j :j :j :j :j

DH has also won £20 on the sweepstake at work too, plus the Quidco £50 as well!! Mudbath - your vibes definately worked for us! Can I request a 'win a free holiday to Disneyworld for a family of 4 plus spending money' vibe next?:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I've got a kelloggs token for the days out too if anyone wants it? PM me your address if so. Off to drag DH out of bed and get dressed myself.
  • Hi everyone,

Jill & family - Hope you all have a great time on holiday!

We have snow here too today...

After swimming yesterday took the kids out to get some new clothes since they seem to be growing out of everything - so need to try all that on them today. Plus make a plan of what they need and try and get it ordered - since whenever I look for holiday clothes for them the size I need is always the only one that isn't available.

DH is out dropping off the other pram that sold yesterday and collecting his car from the garage. It is going to be lazy day stuff when he gets back I have no energy and still feeling rubbish. (think my nose must look really sore - be offered to come back with proper tissues!)

I need to write a list of stuff to do. I need to go to the bank, dry cleaners, and get birthday cards for DH. There will be more... just doing a really good job of forgetting things!

Well done to everyone who won their bets!

ok first things first - better go stick the meat in the oven.

    Have a good day everyone.

Well done all of those who won on the Grand National ...I chickened out of even trying to place a bet
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.
