Just back from plant shopping and getting a uick trip to sains in...I have to make a loaf for a girl in work plus wanted to see the soap dispenser I likes & decided to get it cos its perfect and TBH I think I've looked everywhere!
Have had a trip to the Weezl's...and have SEEN the spreadsheet and freezers! Now then freezers they surprised me cos I thought they would be categorised but they arent, theyre random! Now you think you know a girl....Just goes to show eh! While I dont have spreadsheets I do sort of have a stystem...ice, bits of yeast, veg in the top; meat & made up "ready" meals in the middle & puds/rolls/bagels in the bottom!
As for cheating you KNOW I dont think its cheating (I hope you do anyway?!) plus I couldnt live on that budget just for me so you'll never find me accusing you of cheating! If it was me I would be doing all sorts of innovative things to get extra money plus the whole idea is to save money & waiting just for the sake of it & effectively loosing money would just be plain foolish in my book!
Ok off for a wee snoozette!! Happy planning Weezl but have some chill time too me lovely :)

Err...I was wondering also what kalonji and padano are...and I thought I was pretty adventurous foodwise:D

Violas - nope - I'm not basically thinking in terms of growing flowers - unless they are edible of course! Errr...could be that violas are edible and its escaped my notice:cool:

Having had a good rationalisation of food cupboards today - errr...7kg of rice anyone? (shouldnt have been keeping it in 2 separate cupboards - might have realised that I was doing just a leetle bit of overstocking there:o ).

Noticing I have Oat Groats (80p for 500 grams - and thats organic price - so must be a CHEAP food) and wheat grains (60p for 500 grams - ditto) and wondering what I can do with them - thinking along lines of something for breakfast. Used to use wheat grains quite a lot years back for frumenty I think it was called (a medieval dish with sultanas that I served with milk) if my memory serves me aright - but got a bit fed-up with that - so any other suggestions anyone has for either of these welcome.

sorry folks! Kalonji seeds, also called Nigella seeds or onion seeds are the little black seeds in naan bread. Grana Padano is an Italian cheese that you can use in pesto instead of parmesan, and it's cheaper! ;)

Yep, ceridwen violas are certainly edible! get growin lass!:D

ooo just had a LOVELY sleep...a whole 2 hours me thinks!! Bliss but now I's sleepy!! Price wars...umm saw nowt of that in my pop in to Sains but there was a price comparison on yeast. Please tell me I am not the only one who is hopeless with fresh yeast - it goes off too quickly in my book so have returned to the old sachets!
I have the HWF book (heees soooooo sexy!!) so will go look see if theres a recipe in it for that! Let me know if anything else people interested in (any Hugh bottom pictures are MINE!!)..
Shaz good that I'm not the only one to have a shelf system!! Each nutter to their own eh!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Yes I also agree on the internet romance of Germ...SOOOOOO romantic! Say more!! :D Do love a bit of romance, even if not very good at it myself!!

:o you make me blush, I made the post about friendship not my lovelife....but who am I to deny you lot a peek in to my life, god knows I've been peeking in on yours.

    .....

Hmm, just typed my story, but it's quite long....I just don't do short stories, so I thought I better check if you really want to know and if Weezl will let me post it, it's a whole page long.

See this is why I don't post, just can't keep things short.:o
    Down to you Weezl.

Bails, so we are, I'm in W-s-m, so not far. Never managed to go to Bath, still on my to do list
