    Hi Weezl

Thanks for that - not quite awake myself obviously. Well - I may be more of a "morning" person than many - but I hadnt even had my first mug of "industrial strength" coffee yet - sipping it as I speak..."sip/wake up/sip/wake up".

Good morning all! Well for me no hangover!! Yipee!! While we did drink a fair amount I only had 1 cocktail (think industrial stength lol!) and followed that with 2 glasses yummy cava (cant tell the difference between that & more expensive champagne - did a taste test with an aunt once sains cava vs expensive champagne & she couldnt tell the difference - one up for the paupers me thinks!!) & 1/2 of wine (chucked the rest this am...distressing!!)...so felt nicely mellow but not drunk (actually dont like being drunk but maybe give the impression I do?!! Suspect I do that as people also think I'm a right goer but that couldnt be further from the truth lol! - C while you may be of an age where you rarely notice men I am of an age where I should but cant be bothered & when I do or there is an indication of interest I try to run away if I can lol!!)...sorry mamouth diversion....
Hope Mr Weezl is not a miserable s** when he wakes up & that you are nice to each other! We must sort out ollection/delivery of spare puds as there are 4 here for you (1 for me & thats it!). For those who werent present the pudding was amusing to say the least! WHle the pastry was like shortcake & the filling very yummy actually EATING it was somewhat problematic as the pastry was somewhat "crisp"!! At one stage Mrs W stabbed hers with a fork and waved the whole think in the air with a giggle! Eventually we sussed that if you forked it (assertively!!) at the edge you got a petite mouthful without it going flying! Mr Weezl was very sensible & resorted to using his hands and dipping it in the cream ice cream! Manu cat was very happy and literally the cat that got the cream (which I suspect the honoured guests thought was gross but hey...noone died yet & guests have been eating on cat licked plates for years and I do wash em in between!!) and Mrs Weezl very delicately sipped the remains of the cream from her dish after seeking permission that it was ok and not rude "youre at my house, just sip it says I!! No standing on ceremony here!
SO all in all a lvely, if unconventional eve! I really enjoyed it & am so pleased you felt loved & pampered Mrs Weezl cos that was the intention. A very well done from all of us for such an inspirational, fun and knowledgabel few months with money saved and friends made along the way!! What more could we ask for eh! (I know the answer but cant say, suffice to say the vote will be in soon! )...;)

    Wow You Guys,

A party without a hangover, thats amazing!!!!!

I have been reading through the thread and then made my munchkins and dh get on their bikes to bike 3 miles (round trip) and pick loads of elderflowers (not cowslips thanks for the advice) and made some elderflower champagne (sorry it wasnt ready for the part lol) and some elderflower cordial. My family definitely think I have lost the plot!!!!

Will let you know how the champagne goes. Did anyone else try it?

Morning all! Thanks for attending/hosting last night's do. Hope all the virtual drinks were ok. I do have a slightly sore head this morning ISOM, but am trying to be a nice young man:o. Also not very hungry but unsure whether that's linked to the head or just the fact that I am full to bursting with lovely food (was a bit gluttonous me thinks )

I was up at 9, weezl woke at 6  but lay in until the extravagent time of 8. Anyway, best go now- things to do, but hope everyone's w/e has gone well so far. Have a good one ta ta!

Cor...Cliff Richard....I used to fancy him you know......oh well...men barely impinge on my consciousness these days....but good one Bobbykins.

About 20 years ago a friend and I found out where he was recording an album, so one evening we went down there and waited outside for an hour or so. Then he came out and we had our photos taken with him - he put his arm around me I]swoon[/I. Then when I next saw him in concert I waited outside the stage door and he signed it for me (I used to do that A LOT years ago when I could actually go and see him. Haven't been able to for years now).

Anyway, back to the topic at hand. I'm glad the party went swingingly. I couldn't be there on-line but I was thinking of you.
