  • Morning all. Damp and drizzly here so I'm afraid I've stuck the towels into the TD. On the second load now, have just trawled round DD's filthy bedroom and retrieved two bath towels which were previously MIA  .

Hugs to Smokey, Mary, Kyle's babies and everyone else who needs one.

Thanks to all those who posted that they were having salmon for dinner, that's just reminded me I've forgotten to get mine out of the freezer, we'll have it with pasta and some sort of sauce, will have to investigate the contents of the fridge to decide what :rotfl:

Quiet day planned today; I'm looking after a neighbour's house for her while she's away so will go and make sure that it's still standing, and then get down to the mountain of ironing which is threatening to take over the utility room :o

Have a good day everyone. Am thinking of those in need <<hugs>>

Well done Mumzyof2 for getting to day 3 without a ciggie:T

Will be busy running around everywhere today, doctors at 11, then I was going to hit town but think I will come home instead, Physio at 2, then I will hit town, my friends at 6 to see her new baby:j and then I have Alexander technique at 8.30 tonight all this will add about 70 miles to my car! So won't be back home until nearly 10 tonight.

I haven't woken with any enthusiasm today. my legs and back are aching so just sitting with a cuppa before I get myself in the shower but hoping that one of my treatments today will sort that out

    Good morning all!

Well I know I'm not very techie when it comes to computers ( always thought why keep a dog, 5 in my case, and bark yourself:rotfl: ) but really!!! I've just spent 30 minutes looking for a lost toolbar:o :o When I looked under *tools* there it was, but how did it get unticked:confused: Doesn't matter, I'm happy again now:D

kyle, hope you feel better soon. Nothing worse than dealing with kids when you feel awful yourself. I've done that with a DH on nights too, so can really feel for you. (((((((hugs))))))

Glad you had a good Ninny day, Aussie. My DGS1 can spot a puddle at 100 yards! Which is OK as long as he does have wellies on:rolleyes:

Shez:hello: No fog, so you should be able to see me.

It had rained overnight, but now the sun is breaking through, and we're getting blue sky, so fingers crossed for a nice day.

I've only got one washload to do, the joys of just being two;) That should get pegged out if this weather holds. No idea what we're eating though, I can't get to grips with catering for two:o I'm sure that will come in time.

    (((((smoky)))))) ever in my thoughts.

    Off for a quick browse,

    CM xx

  • Well I am off with a heavy cold - my tourist souvenir from eygpt..... i have already re-listed some stuff on e-bay and had a look at the price of bathroom suites as we need to get one for the house we let out (now that we have finally cleaned up after the tenants and I think now all their debtors know they have legged it). I am planning to put the washing on (again) and clean the big fridge. That said, all I want to do is go back to bed with a hot water bottle. I also want to see what I've got in the way of veg seeds this weekend as well as I want to do runner beans this year over the compost bin (over an arch obviously not the compost bin itself - that would annoy the squirrel who hides things 'round there). I also want to do spinach and stuff that costs a fortune like the purple brocolli you get. I may also do some baby carrots in the window boxes..... I also need to see about what to put in my window boxes at the back too..... I need to see what is in the store cupboard too as I've lost my list. I think I'll go back to bed and sew my new nephew's sampler actually after reading all this list..... :rotfl:
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D

Now now Helliecopter - thats just plain showing off....sunshine - whats that? :D .

The sort of weather we have got here at the moment just makes me want to sit on the sofa and veg out - but I am really going to be good and get on

Hey... you can't tell a girl off for bragging 'bout the weater when she's been wearing her thermals, wellies and winter coat for what seems like the whole of last 3months! And that's just in bed!:rotfl:

Any way you'll be pleased to know it's gone really cloudy:mad: 1 load line dry next waiting to be pegged out! Shopping done (& got car cleaned - forgot about that on my list to do) little one is asleep so off to start on the curtains!

  • Good Morning everyone

((Hugs)) To everyone and anyone who needs one today. Those with people who are poorly or just themselves feeling low. Special Hugs to Smokybabe and children.
I couldnt bring myself to post yesterday. I was feeling down myself and imagining just how much pain others were feeling. My woes felt pale in comparrison (sp?) So i had a quiet day and kept my thoughts to myself..I did read though .So Mary43 i hope your mum is doing better ?

Squiggly Diddly those scones sound great. I too would love to give them a try, when you post the receipe.

Well its raining here and soooo cold. I am suppossed to be going to my sons friends 18th tonight. But i have woken up full of cold and my leg is particularly sore. I have taken my painkillers so hopefully that will ease a little. I would love to go because shes such a great girl. Can everyone cross their fingers for me that i will feel better later ?

Today i am going to make a banana cake and a chocolate chip traybake.
WM is half way through its cycle and it will be going into the TD after its had a blow in the garage. I have hanging space in there and often leave the back door open so it can blow in the breeze.
BM needs to go on also.

I hope everyone has a great day

    ((hugs))
