pps martyn - pointy stick & stringy stuff?? my mind is boggling again...

Keep it to yourself if you don't mind  but I'm learning to knit :o See the "knit your square..." thread for the reason why.

As a result of me learning to cook, using a washing machine, and now this, the "mob" that I work with are casting good-humoured nasturtiams on my sexuality atm. It's a good job I've got a dodgy sense of humour :D

  • Hi LG,
sure I'll dig it out a bit later, I'm just leaving to go to Falmer now, but will be back by lunchtime.

Martyn - I'm seriously impressed, I've tried to learn to knit sooooo many times & I absolutely cannot do it (despite being multi-talented in many other ways ;) ) Don't you take any notice of those people casting nasturtiums, they're just jealous....

Twink - forgot to say, I took some of the hobnobs into work & had someone come & hunt me down from another department yesterday to ask for the recipe... I gave it to them & told them about this forum :)

Right, am sure I've forgotten something else I want to say, but really have to get going, will add it later if I need to!
    Have a good day all.
    xx

dogrose - what topic are you writing about? (from a fellow nosey student....)

medical ethics - my essay is basically about the patients right to refuse to give a blood sample, against my duty of care to ensure his safety in a treatment which should be adjusted using his blood results.

    Morning all

Martyn, does this mean that next time we come down, the tractor will have a little knitted scarf :D

Aussie, I've read My Sisters Keeper and enjoyed it - I recommended it to my sister and a friend, but both gave up and said they couldn't finish it. Mind you, my sister said she couldn't get into the Da Vinci Code

Wet and miserable here today, is Spring ever going to come - the clocks go forward this weekend, and it still feels like Winter.

Hope Smokey feels well enough to come back on here soon, I know we're all virtual friends, but it might do her good to have a chat

Not sure what to do for meals today, but after my holiday, it had better be low fat :rotfl:Martyn will know what I mean if I say the Gurkha Buffet ;)

Have a good day everyone x

    Morning folks,

Off to work in a minute so not much going on. Just time to make some lunch and will do some prep for tonights tea (pasta bake with leeks and sausages)

I have the option of a second hand laptop for £100, but I think it needs a new battery, so will be super cheeky and try and get it for £75.

Mumzy - How are you doing with the quitting smoking - Dlb just gave up as well, although to be honest I really don't know how she is getting on with it now.

Sorry I haven't been around to read the thread very much over the past few days, will try and catch up over the next few days. Need to get back on the grocery bandwagon as well - can't seem to stay on it for more than 5 minutes! So that will be Sundays task, meal planning, shopping list etc.

Hope you all have a good day
