Thanks so much to everybody that has welcomed me, how kind

Just a quick post to say that I made Twink's hobnobs and they were absolutely delish and got polished off rather quickly! I'll be trying the malteser cakes next - sounds so yummy.
Finally got the Jamie Oliver book from the library and I'll be giving the HM tomato ketchup recipe a bash later in the year.
Mumzy - just stick in there, you know that you can do this, it is so so worth it for your own health and also for your children

Evening all,
What did I miss...Csarina where are you and why are you not here???? Who is going to make me feel rotten because the only sewing machine I could ever manage is an old Singer that belonged to my grand-mother...possibly even her mother?? Come back please!!
Mumzy...why would you want to go back to being smelly, unhealthy and even more broke...you don't need them or want them so please, don't do it. Took me 40 years to give up so I know what I'm talking about.
Anniestar...keep taking care of yourself...if you were here I could get you a faith cure but not sure about UK.
Smoky...hugs to you and yours
Welcome to all the newbies...you will like it here as soon as you become used to the loonies!
Nothing of note happening in Mean Mansions, still trying to do a little decluttering every day...some days are better than others.
Hugs to all in need or want

Hang in there mumzyof 2, i stopped on 17th Jan, And i have had the odd one or two along the way ( gets ready for catowen to come and tell me off), it really isnt worth beating yourself up about having one, look at the reason why you had it and think of a plan for next time you are in that frame of mind. Good luck never quit quiting!
Phew im so glad today is over, spent the day helping my friend at the new house, iv taken down a wardrobe which was so well put together even after the electric screwdriver treatment i had to hit and punch it alot to break it apart! Feels like iv done 5 hours at the gym but at least after todays efforts she now has 2 beds,1 wardrobe,2 bedside tabls and dressing table, hoover,tv,dvd player and lots of curtains!
Right off to chill out whilst boys at footy training with dh, dd watching the tv whilst munching on a apple!
Take care
Donna

Evening all
Hugs to those in need.
Welcome to the newbies.
Sorry but my day has gone from bad to worse, yesterday, my card was declined at the shops, no idea why as it was pay day today, went to the bank & they can't explain it. I can't find my mobile phone, no doubt it will turn up soon.
Just received call from very distressed DD, DGS is losing weigh, DD has mentioned it to the health visitor & been told she's just fussing over nothing, this is the 3rd week she's lost weight, DD ended up shouting at the health visitor & now suddenly it's all very serious, could be heart problems & health visitor is blaming DD. All very worrying, they have a Dr's appointment on Tuesday.
Hugs Hester
