Still in Spain so dont like to mention the weather but do think of you all. Gentle thoughts to all those in need and congratulations to all those celebrating something special.

I hope Smokey is managing to face each day as I think you hold yourself together with all the preparations for the funeral etc and then find yourself in a dark place. Hope the children and friends and family are helping you cope. Special thoughts to you
Try and do a good deed every day.

    Afternoon to everyone,
It has been blustery on and off all day in Hereford! I've been into town this morning to do some bits and pieces and pick up my book I reserved from the library. I can't wait to get stuck into it. Its called The Dark River by John Twelve Hawks.
I've also been trying to sort out my stuff to both ebay/car boot etc. Slow and steady seems to be my motto today :D. I even sorted out my make-up and melted 4 old lipsticks down to make a new colour. I've also been trying to sort out my DS aged 4 and a bit. He is going through a "I want to do it..." phase. It's good that he wants to be more independent, but he keeps getting in a bad mood over the smallest thing. Never mind, I'm sure he will snap out of it soon.

Anyhow, I hope you all have a good evening, and my thoughts go out to anyone having a rough time of it at the moment.

    Best Wishes - Powie

Just got back today from Youth Music Festival, had a great meal away. Not read anything of what has been going on and don't know how I'll catch up with everything!

I arranged for Mr T to deliver last night (had a voucher). Advantage of this was that dh put most of it away LOL!

Starting off by going to the pub to eat, ds got back from a week away today and dd is on her way home now. Thought it would be nice to catch up with everything that has been happening, without messing around in the kitchen. OS kicks in again with porridge for breakfast!

(((Hugs))) to PENPIN - hope you have a better day tomorrow. I don't know how you cope living with illness.

ANNIESTAR - you are so good with your 'mentions'! I've been so rushed today I've barely had time to read the thread but I do think of you all.

I hope SMOKY is able to rest and sleep; she has had a terrible time.

Well, off to check on the dinner.

Oh, welcome to GILLIANA - nice to meet you!

CM - you surely cant have sunshine that side of the river, its pouring here:confused:

No you're OK Shez it poured down my side too:rolleyes: . Started soon after I posted (big mouth:o ) However it's now absolutely beautiful, completely clear blue sky, not a cloud in sight.:D

Haribo, I never said one washload was the ONLY pleasure of being just two again:p    :D

ivyleaf, that's awful for your MIL. If they can't give her home treatment, then surely it's up to them to transport her to hospital as she can't get there under her own steam. They'll have to use a stretcher chair to get her down the steps.

catowen, glad you've decided to stay. ;):D

Off to do a chicken stirfry for dinner, as soon as I've finished my coffee.

Sorry, keep forgetting my manners, welcome to all our new posters:hello:
