Do you have any chewing gum hun? If not, try brushing your teeth as most smokers dont like smoking after they have done their teeth. I used to be a smoker many moons ago:D
YOU CAN & WILL DO IT!!!!

Arrrrgghhh am having a very bad day.
This afternoon the post bought loads of bad news (afternoon! - why cant they deliver in the morning anymore!)
Large tax demand, a fine for one of our vans being in a bus lane & OH's court summons for speeding. Have had so many work calls have not managed to get any work done much less any housework or washing.
On the bright side it has just stopped raining and the sun has come out. Im going to have a nice bath & try and de-stress and afterwards try and start my day again. The housework and washing will still be there tomorrow! (probably the next day as well).
Rant over, best be off & get the bath going.

Hey all,
Mumsy, Don't do it!!!! Its really not worth it
Hope there are people out there having good days, we all seem to be following the weather. I too am having a some what yucky day. Im on a split shift 10 - 2, 5 -10, its quite hard coz im sat at home warm and cozy, and bed beckons...I feel really tired and run down. Tomorrows a day off but I have to spend it doing the tidying I was supposed to finish on thursday but didn't coz I accidentally on purpose invited my friend over. It'll be an early start too coz oh is on an early. 5 o'clock alarm...ARGH!
Well, I'm gonna have to stop my whining now, gotta get ready to go back, need to take my revision in coz I've got my level one tests next week...yay more stress.
Honestly I'll stop now, have fun everyone and as always my hugs and loves to those in need or want. When life gives you lemons......Grab a bottle of tequila and call me over!

CATOWEN - so glad you're here!
Welcome to newbies!
Wow, Malteser Cake! How delicious does that sound?! I'm going to make it tomorrow when I've bought some Maltesers (I'll have to hide them, though, or the cake wont get made!) Many thanks for the recipe!! I've just printed it off. For those who have not yet tried TWINK's hobnobs, they're delicious!
Well, the sun is shining in a bright blue sky now and yet it was hissing down through the entire morning. Typical English weather, really!
Half-way through my paperwork now so I am treating myself to a sit down and a catch up with you all.
Well, I think I'll go and put the kettle on - I haven't had a cuppa for all of 45 minutes!
See you all later.

mumzy, don't do it, you are a strong woman, and can do without them, also you can't really drag the kids out in this weather just to get cigs can you ????
Lots of hugs seem to be needed today, lots of people under the weather and feeling down, so please take hugs when needed.
I too printed off the recipe for malteaser cake will have a go at some point, it sounds delish.
Catowen, good to see you posting again.
casirina where are you
, come back please xx
Have decided to be really naughty and have a home delivery curry tonight, will have the salmon tomorrow, just can't be bothered cooking (shall I get me coat
).
Have a good evening all, I will be cracking open a bottle at aprox 8.30 if anyone wants to join me

Smokey, hugs to you and the smokelets xxxx0 -
Afternoon all. :hello:
Just caught up with the thread and posting quickly, before I go to work.
Welcome to the newbies and welcome back to those who have been MIA :j
The recipes sound scrummy as usual, but as I'm still dieting, I won't be making them for a while, as I have absolutely no will power.
I hope you have still resisted the urge for a ciggie mumzy, I'm in Lancashire also, I will PM you later to find out if we are near to each other.
Today is my In-laws 49th Wedding Anniversary, it's very difficult for MIL as FIL has advanced alzheimers and is in a nursing home.
Oh well, I'd better go and gather together my washing, I'm off to work for a couple of hours tonight, so I'll take it with me and get it doe....let's hope it's quiet at work
Tea tonight is not very OS, as I'll be calling at the chippy for OH on my way home, I'll use up some leftovers from the fridge.
Hugs to all especially Smoky.
Kisses blown to Kyle and family...sorry I'm not hugging...I don't want that bug

Next time you feel like that look at your little ones, they should be the biggest incentive to give up. No more smoke around them and what a good example to set for themIm trying so hard really really hard. Only thing stopping me going is the fact id have to get kids ready to go shop.
