It's nice to see some stores are at least making an effort to remove misleading point of sale I'm sure most of you will agree if it wasn't for the hammering we have been giving them it would be business as normal "four or five sorry that must have slipped through the net sir" type conversations a day and squillions of others ripped off in the meantime.
See Tesco you really can get things right if you get a big enough kick in the crotch!!!
It's just a pity they are so proficient at getting things wrong in the first place.
I have a funny feeling it's going to be a corn fed weekend for mser's though!Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

You will be able to spot the cornfed chickens easy enough as they have a yellowish complection, may sound funny now but you will see what I mean once you visit Tesco.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
I almost didn't spot them because they were on the top shelf. As for being yellow...yes, they should be but Tesco's are hardly yellow at all.
Colin, they are chickens fed on corn and are therefore a bit more expensive than normal chickens. They are found on a shelf next to, below or above normal chickens.
Good luck!

They are yellow I'm telling you, my grandad has forty cornfed chickens every time I walk into the compound they scatter!
They're just plain chicken won't even stand up to a sparrow!

Is it just me or does anyone else see a connection between Tesco misprices and the Atkins Diet.
Do you suppose there is some beefy member of the Tesco FMC team sorting himself out at his local branch maybe??Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
Reading this thread with interest last night,
We go to tesco shopping every friday, so Tonight I had me and the MRs huntin through the cheese and meat aisles.
We found 2 Bacon Joints and some cheese that didt match the shelf price.
We finished our shopping and went to CS (the mrs hid behind the door!) I explained I had been over charged, and it took me 5 mins to convinve the CS person of this, she kept saying its the price on the paket, then marched off to fetch the shelf tickets, when she got back she proudly said "SEE! you have been charged the packet price NOT the shelf Price!""
I smirked and said " yes , thats exactly my problem, the shelf price is £2.76 a kilo, and on the packet it says £2.99!"
She was a little dumbstruck at this point, and dissapeared ot get the manager, 5 mins later she came back and said "the manager said to refund you!!""
I said " now arent you pleased you have customers like me to let you know when your prices are wrong""
to be fair she laughed and I said " I will see you tomorrow"
Great tip this one people thank you!!!
I dont even like Bacon joints, but the thrill is great!!!0 -

I have only done this twice so far, but I am always kept waiting for over 10 minutes each time and they always try to fob me off with a refund of the difference. If it happens again I'll contact Trading Standards.
What sort of evidence should I collect for TS?0
