Just do what Marleybob says above^^
Expecting a refund of the last 7 months, I should really check my bank statement more!!
Thanks MarleyBob "You are the Greatest"0 -
Hi - bought a flight ticket from ebookers - clicked on a button saying "Get £15 off your next flight", which I did (who wouldn't?). Next thing I know is I receive a random e-mail from Shopper Discount welcoming me, which I consider scam. However, on checking my M&S credit card, discovered that thay have been takiing £10 per month for the last 3 months!!! Just e-mailed them for a full refund. Will keep everyone informed!!0

I booked with trainsonline recently and have just discovered £10 was taken from my bank account. By googling the Shoppers Discounts and Rewards payment off my bank statement, I found your forum and have just put the phone down after cancelling my 'membership' and being promised a refund within 10 working days.
So thank you all for helping me sort this - I think it is disgusting that these people are able to abuse the law in this way as I would never wittingly have signed up for such an onerous membership..0 -

hiya ive just checked my bank statement online and noticed three months worth of £10 has come out registered with the above "company", just rang them to give them a rollicking and found out it was connected to "Ryanair" shame on u as well Ryanair, they have agreed (straight away) to refund my money in full, but can u imagine the amount of people that dont check their bank statements and how much money they are caning out of people !!!!! apparently i clicked a free £15 voucher for my next flight when i use Ryanair and that must of automatically subscribed me to SDR i wonder if Ryanair are aware of wots going ......................0

Just looked at my Amex statement received today and I also saw a charge for £10 to ShopperDisounts so looked at all my emails around the time of the charge and it was soon apparent that I never bought anything for £10 so googled company to find out more about it and soon discovered this scam. I have no idea how they got me. I have cancelled my membership but offices are closed. I have sent feedback and I'll ring tomorrow to get a refund.
If they refuse I will contest this with AMerican Express to get my money back.
One thing .. I found the email confirming my membership in my spam folder which arrived the day before I got charged £10 which figures. However when I followed the feedback link from my cancellation email, the page where I could type in feedback had my details in the top right corner and it said I had been a member since December 2009, so will check carefully my statemente and also request to know what company signed me up for this scam and when.
I did buy Easyjet and Ryanair tickets in December, but why would they sign me up and start taking money just 6 months later? To make it more difficult for people to spot and remember?
WHY RE THEY ALLOWED TO CARRY ON DOING THIS?? Judging from this email they have been at it for at least 2 years!!! WHy doens't anyone intervene and shuts them down? Need to contact Watchdog?0 -
I noticed today 3 x payments to shopper discount off my credit card. I called them, cancelled it and demanded a full refund as I had been unaware that there was a standing charge (I fell for the free voucher routine via TICKETMASTER).
Anyway, the girl on teh phone was very pleasant and I got the refund and cancellation without any trouble.0 -
I have also been ripped off by the above company after buying from m and m direct and clicking for a free £10 voucher. After complaining to them they refunded £30 of the £70 they took from my debit card. I have just emailed them again stating that they have taken money without my authorisation and surprise they have said they will of course refund the further £40!!!! This was only after I told them I would forward all details to Watchdog!!!!!0

i have just noticed £10 taken out of my bank my these people. I assume it is from when i purchased gig tickets through seetickets.com, in may. I too got cuked onto the offer of £15 off my next purchase which i requested, not knowing that i was signing up for this. I have just contacted shoppersdicountsandrewards.com and went though an automated system they have set up to cancel your membership and get a refund for the current months charges. Luckily i have noticed this before they took anymore. Anyway i have had emails to confirm my membership is cancelled and to confirm i will have my refund in 10 working days.
I have also sent a complaint email to them, however, i do not entirely blame them, i am more disgusted with seetickets.com for having links to such people so ihave also emailed them to complain as i do not feel that they should promote such companies on their website.0
