I bought an item from misco and ever since then ive been getting emails from Shopper Discounts & Rewards, ive checked my statements and theres no direct debits been setup so could Shopper Discounts & Rewards get my card details from misco and start charging me
I've never seen the emails they send, but if you are a member of theirs you must be paying. Have you checked all the card statments you could have used? They charge monthly, so it depends when you bought from misco, was it in the last month?0 -

got scammed via 'Ebookers' - made the call, answeredf almost immediately by a 'Colin' and apparently I will get acancellation email within 24 hours and my two £10 charges refunded within 10 days. Thanks to this site, and lets see what happens. I might reel off a complaint email to ebookers too.0

I got scammed through Photobox, in dec last year. Shame because I like them, like their photo books, and can vaguely remember clicking on a link to get £15 off my next order. I certainly wouldn't have given them my CC details. So I've now paid £80 to SD over the last 8 months. I have just canceled my membership via their automated system. I have spoken to their customer service people twice now. The first time they blamed me for opting in to "receive £15 off my next purchase" and not reading the T&C. The second time I spoke to them I was much more aggressive and told them if they didn't agree to a full refund straight away they would be taken to a small claims court. They butted in that they had already authorised a refund of 3 months of my membership (news to me, the previous guy hadn't even entertained the idea of refunding my cash) and that a claim form to get the rest back was being emailed to me. Let's see what happens...0

by the way, I faxed the "additional refund form" back to them and within an hour got an email saying they were refunding the whole amount (£90). Be firm and persistent folks, you will be refunded!0

ADD an on line store called Lambda Tek Limited to the list!! Bottom of their order page is a link to £10 off...then when they confirm your order its says at the bottom of the mail ;
CLICK HERE TO CLAIM YOUR £10 CASHBACK INCENTIVE ON YOUR NEXT PURCHASE (then in lower case) if you sign up to our preferred partner's discount scheme for a SMALL MONTHLY FEE! Terms & conditions apply0 -
Thanks very much for your useful comment i did the same as you and called the number you suggested and got my memebership cancelled and the £10 refunded. I somehow joined shoppersdiscount by buying some train tickets online and filling in a form to get £15cash back the next time i bought tickets on line. I thought it was too good to be true. I cant believe that i would give my debit card details out but cant remember if i did or not. They told me i must have to activate the account but dont re call ever seeing that it would cost me £10. Thank god i check my account as this could have gone on for a while!0

Hi all, I have just signed up for this knowingly as I saw that I had a 30 day trial period and can cancel within that period, before paying £10 a month. I had to buy two separate train tickets so bought one and then bought another immediately to claim the £15 cashback. I know the date at which my trial expires and will cancel before that so do you think I will be OK financially?0

You should be OK as long as you cancel before the 30 days.
Just be careful your not signed up twice, The one you did and the one they did without your knowledge :rotfl::rotfl:
Only kidding about the last bit but most of us only realise we are "signed up" when money starts disappearing from our bank accounts!!0
