They were featured on Watchdog last Year, but they did not cover the sign up issues, only covering that the service they offer, is actually offered FREE from other, more trusted sources.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

Have just contacted them to refund the £10/month they have been taking out of my account. Linked to Trainline ... did not appear to say it will be a monthly charge.
Does anyone have an up to date list of companies offering this deal (scam) ? This has been copied from an earlier post.

Just by way of update.....
My wife was refunded all 10 of her £10 monthly charges. They were unapologetic but quite easy to deal with and gave the refund on time and as stated. My guess is that this scam works for them because only a small percentage of people actually complain.
This is a immoral and unethical way of making money out of people with less financial skills than oursleves and as such we should all refuse to use companies that profit from this scam.0 -

You can add FlyBe (not connected with the clothes website SimplyBe) to that list. They are particularly bad as they not only encourage you to sign up to Rewards First on their website but even have a link in their flight confirmation email saying don't miss out on the chance to earn another £15 cashback on your flight by signing up with Rewards First.
However the FlyBe scam is with Rewards First and Credit Rating Matters and Adaptive Affinity is the scammer company directly behind those two ripoff brands.
Adaptive Affinity also has a new version of their Credit Rating Matters scam called Credit Confidential that they have incredibly also been advertising on national television lately as a way to stop identity theft! It in fact signs you up to an £x per month recurring transaction on your credit card!:eek:
Shopper Discounts and Rewards seems to be run by Webloyalty whilst Rewards First and Credit Rating Matters are run by Adaptive Affinity. The parent company in each case is American. The scam is the same but is this in fact all one single scam operation or are Webloyalty and Adaptive Affinity rival scammer brands both running the same kind of recurring credit card payment scam?
Looking at the article at http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/bargains-and-rip-offs/article.html?in_article_id=488879&in_page_id=5 it would appear that Webloyalty and Adaptive Affinity are rival continuos credit card payment scam operators. Is there a thread on the forum somewhere for Adaptive Affinity or Rewards First?0 -

Thanks to ebookers. We can all use this post to bring pressure to bear on other companies that are involved in this.
As ebookers has used Web Loyalty and promoted shoppersdiscounts.co.uk perhaps that could go into more detail about what financial incentive they received from them. In particular I would like to know if the incentive is based on the number of "sign ups" that are gained from the hosting site?0 -
Looked up the address that the domain is registered under (non-uk !).... below
Also looked up 'rewards first' address as well to see if there was any connection other than the scam of taking money out of your account.
