just received email saying its been cancelled and refund on its way but not for whole amount as they have taken 3 payments this month so ive sent a reply to query this0

Be sure to include the words FULL REFUND, try not to stress to much, you are entitled to and will recieve a complete full refund, they normally issue you with your first three payments and include a claim form for you to fill in for the rest.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

Write again by email stressing any payments they have taken have been illegally without your explicit knowledge or agreement and that if you do not receive complete cancellation of all debit/credit card subscriptions still in effect with them and a refund of all payments previously made to them you will be forced to refer the matter to Consumer Direct and/or your local Trading Standards department and/or the Office of Fair Trading and/or your local Police force for further investigation.0 -

You need to write again to them and stress the money was taken from you totally illegally without you being aware of it or expressly agreeing to it and that unless they cancel all credit/debit card subscriptions to their products and refund all money previously paid to them you will have no alternative but to refer this matter to Consumer Direct, your local trading standards department, the Chief Executive of the Office of Fair Trading and your local Police force's e-crime department for further investigation and action.0 -
Oh my god....I have just found a £10 Debit Card charge on my account....and it has been running for 14 months!!! I called them and spoke to a very unhelpful lady who obviously has been told what to say when people complain. She said she would send me a claim form, and shock horror...it never arrived!!!
I then complained and they sent me a copy of sheet I apparently agreed to, and it also curiously said I would get £15 cashback cheque, which I oddly never received and they wont provide proof!!! Just keeps getting better hey!!!
The woman I spoke to asked me for my email address, they held a work email address I have not worked at for 13 month...and they hold my old address I havent lived at for 4 months.
They told me they would give me 3 months back, but clearly I want all my money back....anyone got any advice??
I have written to watchdog again, and sent another email back to shopperdiscount. How can they get away with this???? It is shocking....why the hell would I pay £10 a month for discounts which I never even received, common sense would tell you I was unaware of this!!! You would think anyway!!!0 -

I signed up (30 days free trial) on the back of a Pizza Hut purchase chasing a promised £15 cashback. I followed the T&C to the letter and made a 2nd purchase accordingly and sent off the email as instructed.
I've had about 3 or 4 replies now, all rejecting the claim for different reasons - definitely feels like I'm being given the runaround.
I'm assuming this is normal or has anyone actually had the cashback?
Naturally I will be cancelling the 'membership' long before the 30 day deadline.
Thanks!

Progress it seems! Had a pm from a rep of theirs who must peruse this site and offered to look into it for me. This morning I have an email saying the claim has been approved and cheque on the way shortly - fingers crossed

SD&R are fully aware of this thread, indeed they had the perfect opportunity to discuss it on here, but wimped out when asked direct questions. They much prefer you get refunded "discreetly" indeed they even dared to PM me on this matter via MSE (highly unproffesional move), of which I happily replied PUBLICLY in this thread, being sure to include the message they posted to me.
After gaining MSE permission to respond to this thread, other than "If you send us your details via email, we will look into this matter" they turned tail and hid back under their stone.
They choose not to interact in this thread (for obvious reasons) but do constantly return to read the ever filling posts on the thread, eventually their time will come, after upsetting one too many, they are likely to upset the wrong person (maybe a Judge), who will happily choose NOT to be paid off in a hush hush kind of deal with them, and await a Court Date.
They know, and they know we all know, that they have no option but to refund the whole amount to each and every customer who demands it, no matter what feeble excuses they come up with. Feel safe in this knowledge, Law is Law, they have broken it not the customers, their hands are tied and they have NO CHOICE but to give a full refund.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

Unless of course they one day choose to stand and fight their corner in court like the banks over bank charges.
Some how I can't see it happening though.0 -

I think my issue was a little different. The monthly charge I'm not contesting (to my mind it's pretty clear on the site I signed up via that it's a 30 day free trial followed by £10 per month recurring payment if I dont cancel), I was trying to claim cashback against a purchase that they were advertising as a membership benefit.
