JackieO, what a shame about your day out. I would definitely complain about that, that's a lot of money to spend to have 5 disappointed children at the end of it.0

Posted earlier but it got thrown out, drives me mad when that happens....
Have finished another bag, cleared up the rubbish under my sewing table, now I can get my chair right under the table which means OH can get round the end of the bed a little easier.
I have run out of bag material so its pillow cases next. Will get some more canvas when we go to my friends to house sit, we have to go past the shop to get there.
Whilst I was cleaning up, I found some striped ticking type fabric yards of the stuff (Don't ask) I am thinking about making some beach bags with it.........watch this space.........
Just had our supper, chicken salad and cheese cake..........I finished off the bottle of white wine....we are now wineless unless I buy some when I do my monthly shop at Mr T's this week.
Off to chill out with a cuppa........................Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
well my ground hog day went to plan. course work - check, ignore ironing - check...and brisket ready to eat.
washed bedding and since it was sunny I hung it out, only to have to run out and bring it back in when a heavy snow shower came on. been snowing off and on since but nothing is lying.
kids have fallen asleep (one poorly the other should go to bed earlier) and Mr D has nipped to asda to get some goodies in
hopefully he finds the wine aisle
when he gets back we'll have the brisket. thats the joy of slow cookers you can change tea time with out any hassle.
just done my budget and I have £20 left in kitty to do some "proper" shopping tomorrow to last us until payday later this week.

Sorry your day didn't work out JackieO. What a rip off!. DD and DSIL took boys to Almondvale on Saturday (West Lothian?) and said it was fantastic value for money. Boys were digging in giant sandpit for dinasour bones! Under £20 for the whole family outing (plus coffee and juice as were not allowed to eat packed lunches in cafe. DGS3 needed to be inside for his stuff!)
Sounds like you are keeping in there re the treatment! I was a pirate yesterday for half an hour! Please take care and you are a saint!

JackieO, sorry to read about your disaster :-(
There are too many places like that though all around the country, and as you said it is a double whammy as not only is the cash then spent but the kidlets don't get there looked forward to day.
That's enough reading for now anyway, still haven't finished the new laminate floor in living room and hall that OH and I started yesterday afternoon, and she's back to work tomorrow.0
