I have about 25 bottles of wine in the bedroom, no we're not secret drinkers, we had 40 bottles until until Katy started drinking it by the pint & then I hid it in my bedroom. I'm probably just being mean though as we very rarely drink wine, just keep it in for visitors.

In my defence we usually do have a rack full but since our trip to France is 5 weeks away its empty, I have actually found a bottle of red wine.....but I will be buying a few bottles to carry us through to our hols........

We have done quite well we brought back 53 bottles back from our trip in August...........

JackieO that's such a shame! I bet you were hopping! Good luck with the complaint. I'd write a letter to your local paper too, and maybe even one to your local radio station - the organisers need to see that they can't take folks for a ride like this! Let as many local people as possible know, then they won't go another time either.
We took DGS to look at lambs at a local farm - totally free and very enjoyable.

Well, maybe we should all stock up with the old vino before the duty kicks in! A few years ago I went to our then Safeway and they had a sign up saying half times half price on the shelf. They made a huge mistake and I got 12 bottles of wine for a huge mark down. (Should have bought more.) When they went through check out they went out as half price original price. I then pointed out that the sign said half times half shelf price - whoooooooooooops! They honoured the shelf label. I was getting £9.99 wines for half and then half again! DH went back that night because the half price offer (never mind what I got) was such good value.

Our DS here from Ireland for a lads weekend (went back yesterday). We had about 2 hours of his time and he rolled in very late both nights and looked (and I think felt) terrible but didn't want to admit to it! His partner might not get the full story!!!!!! Probably should have had the tablets!!!!!!!!!

I tend to buy as we drink as it were because I'm afraid we'd be too tempted to drink too much.
I tend to buy whats on offer, or in asda whats on the bottom shelf. its where they hide the "bargain" bottles and to be honest some are nicer than the dearer ones. I'm sure Gilly and Oz wouldnt agree... but to me they taste nice enough

    Sorry dogrose

Misread the post. Please pursue with GP and even go further if necessary. I have been a bit out of the loop lately. How old is he? Is it maybe a hormonal thing? We think about girls going through hormones and puberty but sometimes I think boys have a more difficult time as it is not so physical!
