    Morning all :hello:

Lunch will be something easy and tea is laeftover fish pie and banoffee.

I have a ton of ironing to do as well so I can get stuck into office work tommorrow and ignore the house. I'm trying to work from home more since the petrol prices have increased and OH and I take the 2 cars on a 25 mile round trip if we both go to the office. Unfortunately I am not disciplined enough to work from home. :o
I just love banoffee -do you have a recipe please?

I know exactly what you mean regarding work-OH and myself travel 40mile round trip to work (in 2 cars as we go and leave at different times) and petrol is so expensive. I too am not disciplined enough to work from home, but I'm going to have to try and do more from home too!!!

    Afternoon all.

I think I've got another abscess - my bottom right wisdom tooth was killing me yesterday and the day before so we ended up in a&e to get a prescription for some stronger painkillers. This morning my tooth is fine but all my jaw is swollen up and killing me. The pain killers aren't touching it. So, I'll be calling tomorrow for yet another emergency dental appointment. Gutted.

Might go back to bed and try to sleep it off.

    Hi everyone,

The confessions thread has made me resolve to get myself into gear and one of the ways I'm kicking myself up the backside is to post on the daily again.

I was so ashamed when I posted that I had run out of bras because I hadn't hand washed them that I went straight off and did it:j .

I'm also planning to make a chilli (although i need to go out for onions) that will last a few days and I need to iron some blouses and shirts and make sure that I've got enough knickers in the drawer for the rest of the week.:o

I've also got some uni work to do - I'm on the home straight now, it all needs to be in by 18th April:eek:

I've been reading the thread every day - Smoky, I am so sorry for your loss.

Benthosboy - i know you are going through a really hard time at the moment but your posts show that you deserve to (and will I'm sure) come out of the other end with your happiness intact.

Penny-pincher, I think about you a lot because you obviously suffer much more than you let on. I hope you get Social Services sorted, it makes me cross that they are so restricted in the things they can offer people.

Everyone else please havve a good day.

    Morning Everyone

(((Hugs))) to Smoky and anybody else who is in need of one.

I'm feeling much more relaxed today. 2 load of washing done, 1 more to go but I'm using the TD so its all away before I go back to work tomorrow. DH told me this morning that hes off for the next 2 days and will be doing the nursery runs which takes the pressure off me in the mornings.

I've a piece of gammon in the SC for tea and I'm about to do a meal plan for the rest of the week. Later on we are going across the road to the field to test fly dd new kite so that should tire her out abit.

    Have a good day everyone

It looks quite monster like when you open the door, and why does everything leak in that cupboard! Gunk everywhere

Rant away - that's what we're here for. Last year it was something that donny-gal said that made me chuck him out once and for all - can't even remember what it was and I bet she can't either - whatever it was I am eternally grateful. We split up nearly four years ago and maintenance hasn't gone up ever - in fact I am expecting it to end in september as I only got any by lying about how much my childcare was and telling him that unless he paid it I wouldn't be able to afford to go to work and would wait and see what the CSA had to say about it. dd goes to high school in spetember so he might realise that she won't need childcare then.

Guilty as charged - I am stroppy so and so, who does tend to speak her mind, does not believe in being taken advantage of, and quite used to handling stroppy men. I had almost 100 reporting to me at one stage. I do bite my tongue on here quite a lot as I do not like to offend, but hate to see folk taken advantage of.

Hi DG. It would appear that I'm not cooking today after all!!! OH brought me breakfast in bed and he cooked lunch (apart from the sauce) and he's even talking of cooking tea!!! that's a bit of a result I think-he's already made me 3 cups of tea today.
