Already been removed. Post #60
No it hasn't - I got ebay to remove the last one not the first one. They said that the feedback was important on both sides and that it would remain.
Yet they have removed my negative for her on her account
This is the ebay email -
Hello,
Thank you for writing back to us regarding your request to remove the
negative feedback you received from member "xxxxxxxxx". Please allow
me the opportunity to assist you further.
I've reviewed the situation again but we still can't remove the main
feedback you received, only the follow up feedback have fit our feedback
removal criteria.
The decision isn't based on our judgement of how the transaction was
concluded, or on whether you're to blame for the feedback you received.
As mentioned in the last email we sent you, a belief that a comment is
untrue, undeserved or left in retaliation is not one of the
circumstances in which we'll remove feedback. We have this policy
because feedback is a member-to-member system. If eBay got involved in
feedback disputes, feedback would become eBay's opinion rather than
members' opinions.
We remove feedback only in exceptional circumstances, for example if the
comment contains obscene language, or if eBay receives a court order to
remove the feedback. We made some suggestions in our previous email on
what you can do about the feedback you received.

I'm confused then... who left
'(28-Mar-08 16:13): ITEM NOT PAID FOR - NPB STRIKE GIVEN TO BUYER & IN THE HANDS OF THE POLICE'?

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
That was MY reponse to the negative left by the NPB0

I think you fell foul of the feedback rules by saying they were given a strike. That does, in a roundabout way, make reference to an ebay investigation.
I'm getting confused about who said what and what has been removed.
Basically, anything that mentions strikes, police or paypal disputes qualifies for removal. Use this to your advantage, if you can.My TV is broken!

The NPB has not complained about that so we will forget that for the moment.
I am complaining that ebay have removed the negative I left for the NPB - totally and completely vanished into thin air! Not just the feedback - the whole negative
Ebay are supporting a Non-Paying Buyer - from whom I won an Unpaid Item Dispute, which has not been paid for0 -

Yes, unfortunately that happens if you leave feedback that qualifies for removal.

The negative should have been left there even if the wording was removed
She did get a NPB strike

I think you're muddling up feedback removal - if a NPB leaves a neg and it qualifies for removal, the rating is removed, but the comment stays.
If a neg breaks the rules otherwise, it's removed completely.
We all know that fair, true feedback can be removed, - so regardless of whether they got a strike, whether the police are looking into it, or whether paypal have had to mediate - you can't say so in any kind of feedback. My TV is broken!
