EEK:eek: Crazy lady and crazier son! I would maybe even contact the police, that is fairly threatening!

Have you got the number of the postal order she sent? You can see if it has been cashed, or can she do this:confused:

  • Yes I need to go to the police.

No she hasn't given me the postal order number.

I think you have to go to the post office to find out if a p/o has been cashed - will ask when I am there this afternoon.

I know nothing about selling on Ebay, but abuse is abuse wherever it is & I was just thinking exactly the same thing

I bet the mom and son are really the same person.

The syntax and size/style of letters are the same on all emails

I sent an email back to the 'son' just saying that the payment had not been received for the item and that Mother needed to check with the Post Office.

Also that the email was being passed to the police

The email was returned as non-existent address

    I'd reply to be honest.

    Dear ----

Thank you for your email in capital letters. (A bit threatening, don't you think?)

I have not harrassed anyone, merely explained to your mother than I have not received payment for the item she purchased. As I'm sure you know, items do go missing in the post.

I will not be contacting either of you again, merely proceeding with the Unpaid Item dispute to ensure my ebay fees are refunded, as the payment terms of ebay have not been met.

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j
  • The Unpaid Item Dispute was opened and closed and the Buyer got the Strike removed by ebay.

    Even though she hasn't paid

Ebay are being no use at all

    This now has me frightened

Oh, and keep on at ebay about sorting out that strike, the fact that it was reversed is BS.

I'd be posting on Q&A round about now to get some moral support and tips and tricks!
