    Happy Easter everyone.
The weather here is very strange it is a mixture of sleet then sun!
tHIS IS THE QUIET BEFORE THE STORM.Our two grandchildren will be arriving in about an hour then chaos will reign. Their mum and Dad are going away on Monday for a couple of days so we are in charge (think we might needa holiday at the end of it) but it will be a good distraction as have been very down lately because of my youngest sons marriage problems! She won't even talk to him now and he so desperately wants her back!
Anyway enough of my problems. I hope you all have a good and peaceful Easter.
Hugs to all that need them
    Thinking of you Smokey. xx

    Hello all !

Mixture of weather so far today............started off with sleet then sunshine, then sleet again followed by snow (big flakes !!) they disappeared out came the sun and we've blue skies as well ! Very windy though and still bitterly cold.
Hoping we've escaped a lot of the bad weather but got tomorrow to get through yet.

Definitely seems a day for 'indoor' projects.............I'm putting yet another coat of pain on an old cupboard, hope this will cover it enough to put the last lot on...............who would have thought a small cupboard would take so much.............lol

Have a great day and stay warm:EasterBun

    Hi all,

Thanks for the warm welcome yesterday!

Bizarre weather here today, snow flurries followed by sunshine, then sleet....then more sun, but the wind is bitter. Maybe tomorrow will be better:confused:.

BENTHOSBOY - We've been worried but glad you are OK. (((Hugs))) if today is being a bad one.

SPLODGE - hope you enjoy the LOs and that it takes your minds off what has been going on. (((Hugs))) to DS - it must be horrible for him.

Well, DH said he would be home at 1pm; I shall have to phone him because I'm starving and want my lunch. He's probably been fed at the care home where he's working and has forgotten to tell me!

Well, do you know - the ironing is still not done! I got distracted and decided to prep the veg for tomorrow's roast and then forgot the iron was on. I'd better make a start on it. The grandchildren are coming round later so I need to get it done before then.

    See ya!

    Afternoon people

Have just got back from having lunch with friend, which was lovely, especially as he paid!

I have just sat down for half an hour before I get stuck in. The dw needs emptying and reloading, kitchen floors needs sweeping and mopping. It's a bit of a dive in there at the mo as I've been decorating the bathroom and all the brushes and trays have ended up in there! Must get on and finish that today or tomorrow.

Will need to do a 2 loads of washing, but not going to hang on the line as it is hailing here on and off. I was foolish enough to get caught out yesterday. I had music on too loudly and didn't hear the hail hitting the window and my washing got soaked and needed re-washing!:wall: And I got soaked in the process... :o

My bedroom would do with a tidy and bit of airing, so will get on with that too...

Foster daughter hasn't been doing her housework jobs so will need to have a word with her later about puling her weight. She has been working some long days in her new job and has been a bit poorly, but I haven't said anything and was giving her a chance to settle into the work and start feeling better but it has kinda hit crisis point now.

Well the music is on and I should get on... laters people!
