Morning Guys!!
Really cold here this morning.
OH & DD have popped out for a few bits that we need for the next 2 days.
WM & TD have been on as the MIL needed some washing done as they have had some work done and the WM hasnt been plumbed in. Their clothes really need binning!...nevermind...not my problem:D
Not doing much today.
DD is at her friends Monday, so may go for a drive or something.
Hugs to all those in need.

Morning all
JackieO - Nice to see you posting - hope you're keeping well.
Cat - Have fun at the footie.
Hugs to those in need today.
Woke up to hail stones at 7am and it's been either hail/sleet or snow flurries since then - mighty chilly too. I've done all the housework I'm going to do today - (just waiting for WM to finish and hang it on the rads) - DD's have opted for a pj day but DH and I need to venture out for some bits at Lidl and I want to go to the library.
Trying to find room in the budget to get a 6 month pass to gym/pool at a local hotel, I try and do it each year from spring onwards so that we can swim 2/3 times a week and can make use of it well durning the holidays, not quite sure I can stretch to it with the cost of diesel having gone up again round this way - DH is now having to spend just over £300 per month just to get to work and back. He's desperately looking for a new job but unless he works in the city he's not going to earn what he's getting now and train fares don't work out any cheaper.......
I'm sure it will all sort itself out.
Sorry for the whinge.
Hope you all have a great day."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Hello everyone,
Well today is DGS 3rd birthday and the day went really well. I had my sister, bil & 2 of their grandchildren over. He loved his presents. We bought him play doh & a heap of little tools etc I got on ebay. I bought a nice bucket from the bargain shop and put stickers on it. They played with it most of the day. Off to make some curried egg as we are heading off early tomorrow. Going to the zoo.
Monday I plan to veg out. Went to Mass tonight and have just got home. DD set up the new modem for me. :T I've just been told the Easter Bunny isn't coming to me tomorrow morning. He forgot. Hopefully the kids will have brought me some.
MrsMix
Hugs to those than need them. ByeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.

slight dusting of snow here when I first got up, but its melted now the sun is higher.
today its a home day to finish some course work. Mr Dogrose hurt his back at work, so he's here too
He's not the best patient. Not that I dont doubt he is in pain, but truly he is such a baby and a hypochondriac ( I blame his mother). Seriously he's already talking about what will happen if he gets medically retired . He'll be fine after a couple of days rest I'm sure. One of these days he will be really ill, and everyone will be rolling their eyes and saying there he goes again...:rotfl:
the kids have busy days planned, none of which involves me until taxi time at 10pm
tonight will be chinese carry out I think :j The rest of the day is OS - home made soup etc.
will feed washing machine and ignore ironing pile
hugs to those who need or want one, especially smokyx x x0 -
Morning all, We enjoyed our 5 day break down in Torquay the weather was quite good it only drizzled once. Am glad to get back home though (nothing like your own bed) even though it means the WM will be going flat out but at least I can hang it out to dry as it's sunny and windy here in Somerset. Just been sorting through a mound of snail mail and had a letter from the tax man
Saying I owe zillions, well ....... a few hundred  Can't be right as I had the accountant check my return. But I'm still worried and can't do anything until Tuesday due to the holls, a sleepless night coming up!!
I was so sadened to read of Smokies news, not what I had been praying for. Thinking of you Smokie (((((hugs)))))
Well I think I'll try to bribe DH to mow the lawn with the promise of some hm spicy tomato and carrot soup to warm him up at lunch-time.0 -
Hi everyone!
Brrrr it is a cold wet and windy day here. I've just come back from walking the dog around the fields and now have a lovely muddy hall, kitchen and bed as she thought it would be fun to chase some rabbits who did a quick left turn at the pond and left poor Lolly running straight ahead. It was just like watching Wile E Coyote and road runner.LOL
Not a lot planned for today other than trying to catch up with the washing but as I now have my muddy bedding to do (that'll teach me to forget to shut my bedroom door) I doubt I will get to the bottom of the pile.
I hope everyone has a good day

Morning all!
OH has my bug so we didn't manage to get to the tip yesterday-instead we were both laying there on the sofas with blankets feeling sorry for ourselves. I got a bit of tidying done, a few loads of washing cleaned, so all was not lost. I'll try and get there today though-might even manage it very soon, depending on how much I actually have to get down there! Otherwise I'll be asleep for the rest of the day and be in lots of pain tomorrow... haha.
Prob will have chicken pie or burgers tonight, am trying to decide but will ask OH what he fancies too. We will have slow cooker coconut rice pudding after whatever we choose. Will have to make the rolls for the burgers and I guess a walk into town to do some banking should happen... I need to get some Migraleive for my migraines as they are becoming almost a daily thing now. Will be speaking to my Dr about that next week, that's for sure.
No choccie eggs for us til they are reduced, haha. Well we are being very money saving at the moment.
Got some Ebaying to do as didn't manage to sort out the toys we wanted to shift, so hope to do that over the next day or so.
Think that's about it-have a lovely weekend although I'm sure I'll be on tomorrow and Monday too!

Good morning, it's bright and sunny here at Chaos.

I'm busy cleaning a coffee machine I bought off Ebay, it's a fancy commercial one with lots of little pipes and hoppers. Fortunately there is an idiots guide to cleaning it inside the door. The tricky bit is making sure all the little things are dry, I can see me blasting it with the hairdryer soon.
I've been bribing Mr Twit all week in the hope that he is going to transport said beast down to the shop and plumb it in for me, I just hope it works when it's plumbed in or I'll be really miffed.
So, if anyone has a Kenco bean to cup/instant coffee machine at work and they can get me a copy of the manual, I'll be eternally grateful (though you'll have to get behind Mr Twit in the queue as I've made him the same promise
)
Hopefully I'll return later to entertain you all with my tales of fun and frolics with the new machine and Mr Twit and I'll will still be speaking to each other.
Hugs to those in need
Special hugs and thoughts to Smoky.

Back now from out patients - 3 stitches neatly removed. Healing going well. Hubby didnt want to watch them being taken out (big baby
) but me and a trainee nurse were fascinated. So, if anyone wants any stitches taken out I now know how to do it properly!
Had a bit of hail when we were out, but sun shining brightly again (??) Whats up with this weather???
Still lots of clouds around so may be more on the way.
Wish the wind would drop down though, the ducks are having a hard time flying around the boating lake (imagine Biggles coming in to crash land in his Sopwith Camel).
Anyhoooo - good to see everyone being domestic godesses - means we can all go down the pub for a long session tonight. :T Whoever gets to the bar first - mines a pint
Take care everyone
