no longer feel lidl is cheap anymore last time i went easter eggs cadburys which were selling for 1.99 bogof in sainsburys were 2.99 in lidl.also dont try their tin tomatoes same price as every where else and they are horrible. the only thing i like in lidl is their grape juice which is not a bad buy but has crept up in price. Before you point fingers, make sure your hands are clean !;)0

I really like their orange juicethat comes in the 1.5 ltr box, its got a blue label on it and pictures of cut oranges. Not sure if its cheaper than everywhere else but its so nice and in such a big carton that it lasts me all week.
Their chirozo sausage is yummy and their own brand choc mousse pots (in the yog section) are scrummy their cartons of passata are nice and last time I bought some they were only 29p so cheaper than saisnburys.
Also found their bacon and chicken to be really good quality
Their jam is very nice as well, it has lots of fruit in like the more expensive ones but is less than £1
I wasnt keen on their shower gel as it gave me blotchy dry patches, and I didnt think the bread was any cheaper than anywhere else.June Grocery Challenge 270.80/250July Grocery Challenge 0/3000 -

The Black Forest ham is good, and as others pointed out, the jams are good, they actually have real whole strawberries in them, just like jam used to haveEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

Lidl's do more named brand stuff than they used to, but you do have to keep an eye on prices because sometimes the other supermarkets are cheaper.
Their black bags are the strongest ones I've ever used and I won't use any others now.Karma - the consequences of ones acts."It's OK to falter otherwise how will you know what success feels like?"1 debt v 100 days £20000
