If it's a fair distance compare the savings with the extra costs, I don't find them much 'cheaper' if at all for what I buy, it wouldn't justify a longer journey for me.

It's worth popping in when you are passing by but I wouldn't go all that way 'specially !
I find I can't get 'everything' in our Lidl either, their ranges are quite limited so you might end up needing to shop elsewhere too.
Many things are the same price as Morrisons and Tesco's.

There's no Lidl or Aldi near to us, but I love the Lidl Chorizo sausage, it's great in a chilli or in a pasta dish

I also use their washing powder and find that the 5 kg box lasts me around 3 months, which isn't bad for £5.
