Is there anything you would suggest I steer clear of, that isnt worth the money, or isnt up to scratch? Or anything that you would recommend?
I will be doing my first shop at Lidl's next week
thanks

The fresh pasta and thin pizza (ready to cook) are very good. These are normally in the fridges.
Bread flour is good if you have a bread maker.Lets get this straight. Say my house is worth £100K, it drops £20K and I complain but I should not complain when I actually pay £200K via a mortgage:rolleyes:0 -
i agree about the baked beans but they are ok if you use them to bulk out a shepards pie or chilli it helps bulks it out more and makes it go further too0

Washing up liquid smells foul, Brown sauce is horrid:(:(
Fruit, veg , cheeses, usually great though, plus they do sell a few known brands such as weetabix etc.I do prefer Aldi but have found the prices have gone up a lot recently, even though they have the cheap fruit n veg offers now:rolleyes:"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

The veg is all really good.
The lamb kebabs in the freezer section are loved by my DH
And the American style relish for 59p a jar- he wants it on everything now, from salad to sausages, and of course burgers!Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

avoid the frozen fish or fish fingers they're really horrible, the own brand cornflakes are vile too, they tasted salty when we tried them. I like a lot of stuff in lidl though, their sweets biscuits and choccie bars are very good indeed0

their own "jaffa cakes" come in raspberry or cherry flavour and are incredably morish (maybe not so good!) crisps are nice as are frozen waffles. my kids actually prefer them to tescos and birds eye ones. fruit and veg good too and lasts a lot longer than tesco ones i find.
the packs of sandwich ham are really good as they dont add water to it so its not all slimey (yuck)
cant think of anything else for now, its still early.......Dear Lord,so far today i am doing alright. i have not lost my temper, been selfish or rude.i have not cursed, whined or eaten any chocolate. HOWEVER, i will be getting out of bed in a minute and i will need a lot more help after that...amen0
