Good morning:D Happy St Patrick's Day!

( I knew it wouldn't work, telling the Irish to move Paddy's day:rotfl: :rotfl: )

Well when I started reading the thread, I had lovely sunshine, got to stefe's post praying for rain, and thought no way. Now it's all clouded over, so if it rains I'll be after you stefe!!!!!

Not sure what we're doing today, got a couple of loads of washing to do, but otherwise nothing pressing.

I've just had to change the colour of this, I had been doing it in the bright green, and it was making me feel sick:o

I'm cooking a lovely venison casserole for tonight, so no need for hours in the kitchen.

Suesy Sue, you'll just have to spend loads of time on here, oh what a hardship:D Take care.

Blairweech, I'm surprised you haven't been lectured for *security breach* in telling your OH your pin number. My dear Mum bless her, got really told off by bank staff because she knew my Dad's pin number. Well as she said, it helped that one of them did. My Dad is still hopeless, and now has to cash a cheque when he wants money out of the bank:rolleyes:

    ((((((smoky, Eric, children))))))))

    Morning All

St Patrick's day 35 years ago today DH and I got engaged. ahhh! Not that he would know like!

(((((((hugs))))))))) smoky - hope the news is better later.

Must get my a$$ in gear and sort this paper mountain out instead of just moving it around:o . DS took GF back last night, then I got a phone call can you apply for the half price young persons rail card for me please, it closes at midnight:mad: . You can do it on line, just have to send a full on picture of me (where I am supposed to get one of those at 10 pm when he is not in the same place?) Managed to find a photo and crop it, then get the application in. KIDS! he is 23 next week. What age to do males grow up?

As for pin numbers I have to go with DH if he has to use a cash machine and tell him which buttons to press. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

(((((((((hugs)))))))))) to anyone feeling carp or with any family members not well or in/going into hospital.

HiYa to all (hussies or not).

Morning all  hope you all had a good weekend. ((hugs)) for smokey - thinking of you.

Boring weekend for us, OH has [STRIKE]recurrent West Nile virus[/STRIKE] man-flu again so I stayed home all weekend [STRIKE]listening to him winge[/STRIKE] lokking after him. I brought some paperwork home, but didn't get through much of it. Oh well.

I'm off to the police station this afternoon to look at a videoline up - to see if I can identify the guy that jumped out on me six weeks ago. Not sure it's going to be much use, as I can't remember what I had for breakfast most days.

Did veg chili in the slow cooker last night and it's okay, if a bit bland. I have it for lunch today too, so I'm going to have to start liking it :)

Have a good day all. cel x

    Morning all.
I didn't get very far sorting my wardrobe out as I kept putting clothes back in as I thought well there's nothing wrong with that piece even though I probally hadn't worn it for ages!
Had a difficult night last night as I was very down and couldn't get to sleep.
Our youngest son got married last year after knowing the girl for eight and a half years and lving with her for nearly four and after two and half months of marriage she decided she loved somebody else. He is distraught.
This all happened last November and he is still unable to move on.
OH has gone down to his house (youngest son is on holiday)to help him get it ready to sell as he can't afford to live there by himself and the mortgage is in joint names anyway. I do worry about him but he has assured me he will not do anything silly and is managining to go into work everyday which is good.
He has turned from being a very happy young lad to such a sad one.
If I am honest it has effected more then I thought it would and I feel that my life has been put on hold and I am in constant tears but not when i am around him.
Sorry for this long ramble! Just feeling sorry for myself.
I am going to the gym now and take it out on the tread mill.
My thought go out to you Smokey and hugs to all that need them.
Sorry once again. I will be more positive tomorrow I am sure.

    (((smoky)))

Have put pea and ham soup in the slow cooker which should please DH and have managed to convince him that potato and leek soup or cauliflower and brocolli soup next time would be all right!!!

I have been making pea and ham so often that the slow cooker could probably make it on its own!!!!;)

    Martyn

Have a look at some of the cooking threads on here started by mrbadexample. They should give you some ideas and more than a few laughs!

About the squares - was it size 8 needles?

DH is hanging washing out for me while I sit here with a cup of tea!!! Bliss:j

Hi all. (((hugs))) to all who need or would like one.
I should be at work but my eldest DD was unwell yesterday and is still unwell today, says she feels hot, then cold, temperature doesn't seem up though. Her face does look quite ashen and she is coughing-better to be safe than sorry, so she's at home with me today.
Not been around much lately-times seems to be flying by and there seems to be so much to do-I did 5 loads of washing yesterday (3 loads of towels-from water game on saturday!!!)
Catch up later-hopefully, haven't had time to read the thread as yet
