    Smoky, I'm really so sad to hear that he hasn't made it. You have never been far from my thoughts for the past few weeks, and I will continue to pray for you and the family.

    On a practical note, I don't know whether you're aware of THIS THREAD over on the Families board which Martin put together after another poster's husband died. It should give you a great deal of practical assistance.
