Its yummy its yummy ... thanks sharon

Have you tried making a pizza yet using your breadmaker?

The first one I made wasn't much cop as I rolled it out but the last two have been lovely, I can't believe how impressed my husband is with them.

They are still lovely the day after too, they don't go hard like some pizzas.

I made some chili beef wraps for tea last night and saved some of the beef to use as topping. Not being funny but it was better than one you would pay £10 for or whatever (I have never ever paid that for a pizza but I know some people do).

Takes 4 mins to prepare your dough, 5 mins to prepare your toppings and 20mins to cook. A great cheap meal for next to nothing (especially if you use scraps from out of the fridge).

Did it turn out ok then Claire?

I haven't made anything in mine using extras, keep meaning too but we are a bit limited.

Our daughter wouldn't eat big seeds and my husband hates olives.

Glad that it turned out ok.

If you want me to look for any more recipes give me a shout, I'll look in the book for you.

It wasn't a bad buy for 33p was it.

    ;)

Its nearly all gone Sharon ... lol...

I could do with a sweet one please... like a light fruit bread... just with some sultanas or currants in please.. no nuts or anything... bit like a big hot cross bun

I tried pizzas.. but my bases went soggy for some reason ... but they tasted good

    Thanks for all your help

    All I'm thinking of getting this BM. But the price has gone up to £39.97. They have addeded a notice on the link to state;

"We incorrectly stated in the catalogue that this model automatically adds nuts and raisins to your bread; the correct features are detailed here"

.....But the features list below this notice states; "Cool touch housing. 2 Loaf sizes M, L, XL. Rapid Bake - 1 hour 55 mins. Unique Panasonic cookery advice line. Rye bread mode. Automatic Bread Maker with automatic nut & raisin dispenser"

Does this mean as they have hiked the price by £15 they have added these features?

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Unfortunately no it doesnt, they hiked the price because people started buying them! Obviously they just want more money, the description bit is wrong.
They were still at £25 in the shops last week apparently, not sure if they still are:confused:

None of the stores around me have them in stock. Checked a 40 mile radius :( Oh well will have to buy it online at £39.97. Still you get £5 off with code and £1.17 in points.

I took a print out of the website so I might take it back to my local store and complain that the extra stores are selling it cheaper at £25 and the the product does not have the features listed on the website (The website they are saying is correct over the catalogues) Maybe I can get a £14.97 refund out of them?

I have the morphy richards and i have a problem with the kneading blade. it's always stuck in the bottom of the loaf so that i have to cut off the bottom crust and have to prise it out, leaving a hole in the middle of the next slice.

So any good tips would be appreciated folks...:j

how long have you had the machine? I used to replace my paddle every 12 months because it started sticking. Used to make a big difference, and they weren't that expensive, about a fiver for 2! although the price will obviously depend on the manufacturer and mine wasn't a MR. Have got a new panny now, so havent needed to replace it yet
