    Hi dibblersan,

I agree with the others and would be inclined to use ordinary bread flour. The main thread on tesco breadmakers has some advice. If you read the last few pages you can see that others have had similar problems.

I'll add your thread to that one later once you've had more ideas.

protein content to the flour is key 11% or above; just check the small print on the side of the flour bag.

I use a simple flour, water and yeast mix which has never failed - 750g flour, 450ml water and a sachet of yeast. This is the basic bread recipe from River Cottage. If I want it to stay soft a little longer, I add a little butter or oil.

    Hi there
I hope you don't mind me contacting you like this :)
I've just bought the BM10 model of the breadmaker, but I don't have the manual

I've googled all over and even emailed Tesco but no joy

Could you happen to have a PDF version of the manual? I would be most thankful! My email is ***** [SailorSam is a wise man]

    Cheers, and thanx :)

You're probably better sending Rincage a PM in case she misses this.
Not sure you should be putting your Email address on an open forum.

  • Thanx for the advice Sailor Sam
Can I ask you to remove my email from your quote in that case? :)

    Cheers!
