Lil-me - if hot chocolate is what you want, then you shall have it and I'll be proud for you to raise it my direction
Mudbath - water is Adam's ale which we should all drink more of it. But if it's OK with you, I'll stick to the wine.

Happy Easter Everyone.....I am sure you will all do at least one thing you enjoy regardless of this awful weather...
soappie, definately what I am happy with, especially with whipped cream and crushed left over easter egg on....yummy! Only thing it could do with that I don't have (not even in an easter egg belonging the children...which I would replace of course) is a flake and some maltesers, or maybe even mini marshmallows.....talk about indulgence, I think my chances of loosing weight this week are between no chance and fat chance somewhere...:rotfl:
Oh and I was mean there, to be honest I think my house will be untidy long after the boys have grown up, we're just not the naturally tidy typeour bedroom is usually the most untidy place, so I can't blame my untidy house on the kids forever but while they are small I may aswell
One day I might be more organised...........

soappie - a lovely post! I quite agree with you. Although the house is currently in a bit of a state of upheaval, as I still have half the contents of the bedroom stacked behind the sofa, it is at least clean, and the stuff is all things that need to be kept, and not two thirds rubbish.
Horrible weather here too. I am in a massive sulk because it was too cold and horrible to go out. I'm also in a stroppy mood with everyone else in the house, as the sittingroom was a tip when I came down, and no-one lifted a finger to help with the mountains of washing nor did they wash up the breakfast things while I was out doing the weekly shop. I don't strop quietly though, so it was much tidier when I came back this evening after visiting mum.;)
Mum seems much more settled, although still sometimes says things that don't seem to fit. I nearly cried when she thanked me for letting her stay, and promised she wouldn't be any trouble...My dad was there as well when I arrived. He goes every day, has a packed lunch there, and then stays until sometime in the afternoon. He left early today because of all the hail showers. He was telling me that they are still arguing over the funding, even though mum's consultant has said that her needs are medical not social. The whole system is just disgraceful.
boddy - it must be very hard for you when your mother is upset. Is there anything in particular that disturbs her, or just random? Hugs, and have a happy easter tomorrow.
nikki - the end of a relationship is never going to be easy, but this will pass, I promise. Its just that bit harder because you didn't really break up before, and now you're having to deal with losing that hope of getting back together. Come on here for lots of virtual hugs and shoulders to cry on.
Happy Easter for tomorrow everyone. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
I'll drink to a Happy Easter one and all - chink chink - with my glass of cheap white LOL
lil_me, do us a hot choc next time you're doing one would you, looked for some in the cupboard earlier but we have noneIts been so cold hasn't it. We had salady leftover picnic stuff for lunch as well :rotfl: I was saying to Dh we should be eating jacket potatoes and soup not flipping cherry tomatoes and hummous :rotfl:
However we did have a yummy roast dinner for tea - all of us - pureed some up for LO she loved it :T . I love it when we all have the same thing. I froze a couple of portions of it to freeze for her, and did some cauliflower cheese for her as well. Froze a load of cubes of cheese sauce for LO's food, and made a lasagne for tomorrow. Will puree up some of that for her as well. Will mix some of the leftovers into fish pie for her and puree that up too !!! Used every bowl, saucepan, you name it :rotfl: took ages to clean the kitchen!!
Just watching The Day After Tomorrow, I fel even colder now :rotfl:Jan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

serena and boddy - I keep meaning to say huge huge ((((hugs)))) for you both with your Mums. I keep thinking gosh it must be so awful to have a sick or upset parent and then I remember that my own Dad was very ill for most of last year so i do know how it feels. Thankfully my Dad is a lot better now but it has made me very aware suddenly of the fact that Mum and Dad are getting on a bit now really. Never thought of them as "old" before. Facing ill parents is another stage of life that we all must face I suppose, but that diesnt make it any easier to deal with. Sending you lots of hugsJan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)
