Slightly longer HHC than planned but I had to bring the washing in as we had a blizzard (now blue skies AGAIN! Washing now on airers  ) and I've had to go rummaging for a tubiegrip thing as something has twanged in my wrist and it feels like someone has got a really tight grip on my wrist but the pain goes right up to my shoulder and across my ribcage  I think it might just be a trapped nerve but will phone my mum and ask advice a bit later on when she's back from shopping.

    Good afternoon.

Seems the weather is the same all over. Went shopping first thing in gale force wind and frezing. Oh and half the roof off next doors shed is in my back yard. Told the guy when I saw him. Oh yes hesays mustdo something about that. Hm its been coming apart for months.

Went to see mum and its not one of her better days. DD talked to her but she wouldnt be comforted. DD and I walked to hers in a snow storm. Crying and laughing because she dreamt of her ex last night and it was one of those crazy dreams. It had taken a while for her to settle anyway as she had been to see him yesterday with GS1 and GS2. Exes brother had called last night and they had been talking bout a album he had loved by Neil Young. DD had gone to bed and picked her book up and in the bit she started to read it mentioned Neil Young which spooked her.

Spent a couple of hours at hers comforting her and GS2. His brother has found a diary with poetry in. One describes an incident which happened to him and that was what was on my mind the week before. Another was about the old estate and the strange thing is his brother wanted to read it next week but it has disappeared.

Oooh sorry Ive rambled on there. Not much flying here just dailies.

Hugs to everyone and especially those who need them. Hope all the poorlies feel better soon. Off to empty washer and make a cuppa. Anyone want one?

boddy, ramble away, sounds like you have a lot on your mind at the minute, cuppa would be wonderful :)

I've emptied the bins apart from bathroom one (must do that in a mo) and emailed some ebay sellers about trousers....online banking next. I'm getting urges to shop online because I haven't done a big shop for ages, isn't it sad how we end up wanting to even if we're saving money. I'm over the moon with my GC target so far, £129.83 for 4 weeks (everything inc toiletries, cleaning stuff, food etc for the 4 of us and the animals) and really don't want to blow it being silly, been using a lot from the freezers and cupboards to help (apart from cleaning stores where I put the money in when I take something out) savings will help pay to get the TD fixed if my darling partner can't fix it.

Oh and I shot myself in the foot saying DS2 haddn't wet the bed as often to the nurse, every night since he has...bother.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

Still working on the paperwork and intermittently washing walls and paintwork in the family room.

DS doing a whole box load of puzzles.

Weather still not great but 2 of them have just come in from playing basket ball.

We put Pirates of the Carribean 3 on because it's available for 1p at the moment on Virgin.

I managed to last nearly an hour before I couldn't stand any more. How can the first film have been so good and the others so bad? DH is still watching it but he doesn't give up easily on films. He admits it's bad though :D

So I took the dog over the shops and paid the paper bill. It was OK going over, the wind was behind me and it was sunny. But coming back it was in my face and I couldn't catch my breath when I got home. Once I'd finished coughing and gasping I felt much clearer!

I made Hex's cake with nothing in and it is really nice :) I assume that as there is no fat in it, it probably won't keep as long as a normal cake? I don't envisage that being a problem though...

Got a bit more washing up to do and then I'm going to read the paper. It is the weekend after all ;) Although I'm not really sure what day it is at the moment. These bank holidays addle my brain.

Hi everyone, Its a lovely snowy day today. We had about 3 inches this morning and the kids in the holiday cottages next to us were out sledging. DS3 is really annoyed to miss another day skiing but he is at work so shouldn't grumble.
Today I have vacuumed all hard floors, left living room for DH to do. He is watching rugby so won''t move til its finished.

Trying not to spend any money at all as DH is still not working. I should have listened to pigpen when she said to photograph things for e bay.

    3 WM loads
    1 TD load
Mopped kitchen and dining room floors.
    Ordered flowers for my aunt
    walked the dogs
Had loads of cups of caffeine free tea.

hex Thanks for putting me on the list. I need to lose 42lb from now. DD got engaged and hasn't told us yet when the wedding will be but it is still a good incentive to try to lose weight.
nicki Good news on the high sleeper! I hope things get easier for you soon.
