soblivion - that Jedi costume is wicked! What did you make the robe-y bit out of ?

Thank you JillD, I made the robe from an old bedsheet, the tunic from a pillow case and the belt from two old pieces of fleece, and the lightsaber he borrowed from a little lad round the corner. Very money saving.

Morning all, sorry to hear so many of you are feeling poorly.

Balmy whether here - lots of snow showers then sunshine then more snow showers - none settling though.

Been to the neighbouring town and done my chores there. Kids at the local cinema with DH - £1 each so not bad, you have to wait a while for films to come around but it is great value.

Whilst it is quiet I am going to do HHC on the paperwork by my desk as today I will be doing the family room.

Kaz thanks for the PM x DS1 is heading up to Norfolk after Easter to do a filed trip for his GCSE - binkley spit I think does that sound right and is it near you?

Serena hope the boys have a great time, bad weather often makes the parks quiet so hopefully they will not have to queue much.

Mudbath glad you saw a doctor and hope you feel better soon

    Morning/afternoon all

Not much flying done, but I've done a load of washing and tidied round. Still coughing my guts up at every opportunity. I'll live!

    Back later.

Lil-bro just phoned. My niece has been upchucking all morning so they've decided it's best not to come down. Just as well I hadn't started on the cherry cake! Never mind, as long as she recovers quickly enough for her easter eggs tomorrow, that's all that matters.

Bread cooked. As it's so cold, I've put some leek and potato soup in the slow cooker and it's smelling divine. I had porridge with a banana in for breakfast but it doesn't seem to have touched the sides.

Right, off to do the utility area.

So to today, we've had about 6 seasons so far with wind, rain, snow, hail, sunshine etc but seems a bit calmer now and nothing has settled.

Seems to be all over the country.
Wind has dropped and sunshine at the moment, but I don't trust it.
Going to a Golden wedding party tonight but I have managed to get a lift I do not like driving out of town after dark.
