:rotfl: pleased I'm not the only one who thinks it's the 30th http://www.woodlands-junior.kent.sch.uk/customs/questions/clocks.htm
or http://www.bbc.co.uk/jersey/content/articles/2005/03/21/future_time_changes_feature.shtml ? Wait til I tell DP who thought he'd get one hours sleep before he went away after work next weekend, I forgot about that....looks like he's getting no sleep or taking a night off (which I doubt he'll do after having a night off this week)

Got postage reduced for buying several pairs of trousers for DP :) well that's part of the money gone from what he sold this week, in one hand and out of the other....but £48 is much less than we used to pay for one pair of trouser for him from high and mighty never mind 3! I love internet shopping as it saves me a fortune on clothes for him as he needs 33" leg plus. No trousers or jeans in any normal shops fit him, same with shoes usually as he's a 13 and leave limited if any choice.

My risotto isn't defrosted :( looks like a late dinner for me, actually I am trying to think what will be the best way to reheat it, maybe add some extra stock into a pan, think the microwave would dry it out, bit of a risotto novice if you can't tell :o

Pollybear, I only like Pirates of the Carribean because of Captain Jack :D but we've got dinosaurs on here today, I get screamed at if I even suggest anything else. UKTV Documentaries is doing dino season, joy, at least they prefer this to cartoons etc but I'm a bit bored now.

AIMEE!!! Moving in!!!! Are you MAD!!! :rotfl: good luck!!!

(PS weight loss people I didn't post about it this week because I didn't loose anything, again, getting a little fed up now as it's 3 weeks!!)
One day I might be more organised...........

Back from shopping and did really well - only spent £32 which means we'll come in under budget if OH manages to stay away from tekko. Unfortunately went into Matalan and spent £43.50  which is not great when OH was moaning at me about my spending again (but my argument will be there is £60 spent this year on what appears to be a !!!!!! site - explain that one :D )

As for Rigby and Pellers - Ive actually never heard of them, I'm more of a £6 a set girl (being only a tiny 32B) so have loads of sets and if they only last a few months I dont care (sorry not very old style but can be very pretty and OH doesnt seem to complain but then he doesnt know I bought 5 sets this week :rotfl: )

Lilme - Risotto, I reheat in the micro and if it seems a bit dry just add a bit of boiling water from the kettle. Works fine for me. PS organic arborrio rice is cheaper in Morrisons than the non organic

Jealous of poohbear - I want snow, a foot of it preferably, I want to play. (is it abnormal for a 44 year old to want to play in the snow and go sledging :o )

:rotfl: at the clocks going forward next week as Sat DD will be having a birthday sleepover, 7 girls with her  ) so that one hour less to have them :rotfl:

I knew pigpen must have had a mega lie in - lazy tyke, dont know how you manage it with your children around, I have a job to lie in with one.

Dusty - Blakeney is lovely but not so sure in the weather we've been having. Its a really pretty part of the coast. We're a bit further northwest at KL, think its about 40 mins to an hour depending on who's driving :D

OK better get on as have to make OH a fish pie before he gets in, in an hour an a half and shopping to put away as well.

    catchya'll later

Kaz, thanks, yes I got 'So organic' rice because it was cheaper in Sainsburys, weird. I'll give microwave reheat a go, it's the bacon and peas one you gave us the recipe for :D just with posh bacon and poor peas :rotfl: I made loads last time and popped some in the freezer for when it's just me and the boys. If you can post the fish pie recipe next :D I might give that a try some time too. You should make a Kaz's cook book.

Need to cook the boys dinner, only DS2 likes risotto so they're both having something else, 6pm and haven't even started it but they did have sausage butties at 1pm. Best go do that and empty the WM :o which I still haven't done.

Havent gone yet but the fish pie recipe is the one from this months easycook mag except i'm going to use mashed potato topping. I am actually creating my own cook book as I now have so many mags. I'm scanning the recipes and printing them to put in one folder so all my favourites are easy to find.

Am going now but first for queries on BST http://wwp.britishsummertime.co.uk/

    Ciao

Got quite a long way with the family room but not as far as I'd liked. Will do a bit more in the morning whilst lunch is cooking.

Kids going barmy. Need to go and put sheets on DS3 bed and new protector as it is his 'turn' for having it changed - I rotate the spare one round the 3 of them.

Have the fire blazing as it is so cold.
