Hi everyone, i've done nothing today well i lit the fire thats it. Think i've the flu and the last time i had that it lasted 3 weeks and i lost a stone and a half. Can't eat or drink at the minute. Pizza being delivered at 8 for hubby and kids, i just can't face cooking tonight.

Right DS's bedsheets in the wash so i'll get them dryed and kiddies to bed then i think i'll head.

:rotfl: oh dear vanilla, did you find it again?

kaz hope your OH is ok, can't say cycling in this sort of weather would be at the top of my wish list....

Just been outside, only way I could get the dogs to go out was to stand with them, stupid things, no ice here just yet. Boys in bed, but being yoyos, I'm sat eating popcorn (did make some for all of us but got none so made my own...funny what a thread about something makes you do..) I think a bit of meaningless tele then some studying before bed.

I know I've said it before, but I will say it again. Thankyou flyladies for this thread and for letting me join in. My home is in v. good shape now and it wouldn't have been if it hadn't been for you lot and your encouragement - and even the dastardly Pigpen's lists!

The reason I'm thanking you again is because Big Sis has just phoned and wants to come down with her bloke tomorrow. Now, I love my Big Sis - but she is that - Big Sis . Her bloke is lovely but is also one of the top 500 lawyers in the UK. She has (bless her) exacting standards and he is used to the finest of the finest.

Now, I know lil-bro was due to visit today and cancelled but I know he and his family have less exacting standards (or at least I feel they do!) so normally a visit by them wouldn't cause too much stress. But, Big Sis coming down with Big Lawyer Bloke is an Event which usually meant panic making sure everything's clean/tidy etc. etc. I used to rush around tidying everything catching up etc. then being knackered by the time they arrive.

But, thanks to you ladies, my place is so up together, I can just concentrate leisurely on doing a Sunday roast (fortunately I've got a leg of lamb in) for about 2pm and be relaxed when they arrive rather than exhausted.

Ladies, I salute you big time. :A I raise my glass of Pinot Grigio in your general direction and say "Cheers" I don't know where I'd be without you. :A

soappie, what a lovely message. I know exactly what you mean however, house is 'untidy' (having 2 kids I accept it'll always be untidy) but it's clean and nothing I wouldn't be able to sort in an hour max inc putting that bag of laundry away I've been putting off....to get it to 'his family visiting' standard :D

Can't raise a glass but will a mug of hot chocolate do?

Evening ladies. Trying to catch up with thread as not been on a couple of days. It's taking ages!

Jill - I stayed the same this week - pretty good really considering I gave up smoking. Started smoking again after 2½days so should have a weight loss next week. I know I should give up but it is really hard.

LG - lovely dress and shoes, very stylish.

((((Hugs))))) for all who need them, I have been feeling right sorry for myself again for the last couple of days, it's getting on my nerves now.

Done a few bits today, hoovered kitchen, lounge, stairs, landing, bedroom and bathroom. Not hoovered girls room as couldn't get in there!!!!

    Cleaned Bathroom
Finally finished putting dh cd's onto external hardrive, took over a week in the evenings! Now they can go in the loft and we can take down the carpy shelves they were on and buy a bookcase so mine and the girls books can be taken out of boxes in the garage!!!!

Not bad now I've typed what I have done. Quite pleased.

Will try to catch up with the rest of the thread later, got some online stuff to do.

Happy Easter to everyone. I'm up to page 37!!!!
Need to sort my life out! :T
