Happy Easter lovelies! :easter_ba :icotbaske :EasterBun

We've got snow here this morning too, obviously fell through the night and the skys looking very ominous I so hope it's full of rain and not the dreaded white stuff. Kids get their Easter Eggs today, that's when I got mine so that's when they get theirs, though they get waaaaaaaaay more than I ever got! LOL Also got an Easter egg hunt over at MIL's later on so that's more bags of chocolate.

Need to do a few bits round the house today, mainly dailies as I was working all day yesterday, I have to get this lump thing on my foot sorted out I thought my foot was gonna drop off by the end of 6 hrs, I got medicated plasters for it but they don't seem to be doing much, not even cushioning it :( Not sure it's a corn as it's right on the bottom of my little toe underneath, it may be a bunion? feels like I'm walking with a stone stuck to my foot. It's a callus, just googled it!

    S&S kitchen
    hoover through
    WM
    TD
    empty maiden/fold/put away
    make beds
general tidy & S&S of house (it's not too bad)
    prep veg for tea
    empty DW
    reload DW

I watched Day After Tomorrow last night too, made me feel even colder brrrrr had to lop the heating up, all psychological of course

Happy Easter one and all:easter: :EasterBun

All going well here, read the paper in bed. Kids been out in the snow looking for the mini eggs the easter bunny left in the night and they had a ball. Snowing heavy here at the moment.

DH has done fantastic with his weekend list. I have shiney new taps, a lovely sanded and oiled kitchen worktop and my veg patch created plus he helped do the garage and took all the recycling to get tesco points.

Going to make a cuppa then off to the bathroom. Still hoping to do a bit in the family room whilst the lamb cooks. Mum for lunch and Nan and sis coming in the afternoon (they were invited for lunch but declined).

    Happy Easter Flyladies!
I haven't been around for a few weeks but I hope to join in again next week. I've had a murderously busy couple of weeks at work coupled with short weekends for overtime and found it hard to keep up with the thread let alone Flying properly. This four day weekend should've been time for fun but I think I've exhausted myself and feel lower than a worm's belly so I'm off to see my Mum today for a hug and a dinner.

Enjoy your day, indulge if you gave something up for Lent, hugs all round. I look forward to trying to catch up with your goings on next week.

    :easter_ba H A P P Y E A S T E R :icotbaske

All this talk of chocolate - am I the only one on this board that doesn't particularly
   ~shock horror~

like the stuff? I expect I'll get a couple of chocolate eggs today and I expect I'll nibble a bit but then I expect there'll still be some left in a month's time.

No snow here, but it is quite cold and raining.

Right, off for a browse around then I'd better get dressed and put the leisurely roast on. Have a good one ladies

Dusty :T for your OH (and you) for getting things done.
    Lil_me I've seen what you're doing on t'other thread :D

Kaz my poorly foot thanks you, it's throbbing your way :D funny y'know, when I was in Boots looking for corn plasters ( ) I saw scalpels and stuff for calusses and I preened cause I was glad I didn't have one of those  serves me right.

    Morning all. Happy Easter!!

We're having a PJs day here, well DD is, I'm dressed as I can't be doing with being in my PJs all day  DD is currently watching Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, soon to be followed by Last Crusade :rotfl:

I didn't wash up last night as I spent 2 hours trying to get DD to go to sleep after ex left :( She wasn't a happy bunny, but eventually she went to sleep but first thing this morning (like 8am:eek:) she climbed into my bed and got all upset at missing her Dad again :( Hence Indiana films and a treat breakfast of 2 hotcross buns, a mug of hot chocolate and half an Easter egg :o:shhh: So my plan for today is :
    • [STRIKE]Wash up (should prove interesting as we had lasagne last night and I didn't even put the stuff in to soak :o )[/STRIKE]
    • [strike]Put shoes etc away under the stairs[/strike], and suitcase back under my bed.
    • [STRIKE]Do at least 3 loads of washing  Make that 4 :o[/STRIKE]
    • [strike]Make my bed[/strike]
    • Clear paperwork off desk, and out of the boxfile where I "filed" it the otherday when I was tidying up.
    • Lunch & tea - although I have no idea what to have for either.
I have no idea what else will get done but its Sunday and it'll all still be there tomorrow. :D:rotfl::rotfl:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

    Roast lamb is smelling divine.
DS3 colouring a picture for nanny
Bathroom all done except for the bath which the dusty bath toys are soaking in - they are going to be thinned!
OH has cleanned the blinds/windows/sills and computer gubbins under his desk so his office is looking fab.

Solway - hugs hun, missed you
Kaz I am just in the mood for getting things done, striking whilst the iron is hot and all that - don't worry it will not last, I know this from experience.

    Morning everyone.

Happy Easter to you all and your families

snow here too. And not too much chocolate, as with it being an early Easter, my mum and sister were both flummoxed and didn't get DS an egg. To be honest, we didn't either as at 17 months, how much chocolate should you eat. We'd rather take him somewhere or buy him something as he needs it.

DS and DH have played out in the snow, and made a snowman which is about 2 foot high. It will all melt fairly quickly here. DH now doing a bit of DIY, and then has to go to work for a couple of hours at 11:30.

I've not done a lot other than hang up a load of washing from yesterday. The washing baskets are full, but nowhere to put stuff if i wash it with all the DIY and workmen, so i am taking a well earned rest this weekend.

The plan is this afternoon we will take a trip to dunelm mill and try and find a curtain pole and new curtain for the boys bedroom, and perhaps pick and order a new carpet. I am hoping all the DIY will be done for the end of the hols so i can have the last few weeks of the pregnancy in peace. Don't have to go anywhere else as we took Easter eggs for the nephews last night. my little bro who is nearly 18 was most put out that i hadn't got him an egg, but you have to have a cut off point somewhere. He is not a kid any longer after all. And if he had got one, i would then have felt like i should have bought his GF one too. All a bit silly.

Anyway, going to move away from the computer as it is right by the patio doors and it is a bit cold.

    See you all later.
    Michelle, x
