Littlemeister and I have been working from her lists - I made her a rainbow one and we did a HHC but she wont show me what she's done  !

I have emptied DW and reloaded it
Emptied TD and folded stuff
Sorted all the washing and put WM on
Cleared all the kitchen surfaces and wiped
Swept the kitchen floor

Now scarfing crisps as dont fancy chocolate and I have no GF cakes/biscuits in and have been very good and resisted the normal ones (that means I've stuck to my diet all week :A )

Going for a cuppa then some more from my lists (had a day off yesterday and friday and thursday ...... :rotfl: )

We're having chicken kievs, salad potatoes & carrots for lunch, DD wanted corn on the cob but since she's missing her front 2 teeth its a bit difficult for her to eat it :rotfl: Will do it later in the week instead with some wedges and southern chicken portions. Since I was doing the kievs in the oven, I've slung a tray of jacket potatoes in as well, so thats 9 jacket spuds for the freezer, and less potatoes to go green in the veg rack :o

Just put the last load of washing in the machine (must remember to start changing my bedding on a Sunday only :o ) and now I have 2 maidens full, washing line full (but it is sheets!) and still a kingsize quilt cover to put somewhere when it's done  Think I'll have to get the ironing done tonight as well otherwise I won't be able to move for laundry!

My Easter egg has gone, DD's have been deboxed, sorted into "middles" and eggs and put away in the fridge - the idea being out of sight out of mind otherwise I'll end up getting too tempted. :o She only has ex's side of the family ones, 1 left up at his parents, 1 from the Easter Bunny, and an egglet one from me (since she got the DVD :p ) but she's still got plenty and more to come from my side tomorrow when we go to see them :

Looks like rice-crispy cakes will get made at some point, or chocolate covered somethings.;)

Off to dish up lunch, so DD can eat while finishing watching Stardust as my timing seems to be majorly off today.

afternoon, having a very lazy day today, watching the kids stuff themselves silly with easter egg. DS has finished 2 whole eggs since yesterday (he's only 4:eek: ), DD is still nibbling the first one, she isnt a big choclate fan, ts very worrying the amount of chocolate she will leave in this house. DH says we should have waited til tomorrow to eat them, but I'm sure as kids we didnt wait til Sunday. What do you all do ??

Hubby is ticking ojnto my Weightwatchers biccies instead of the millions of baps and hort cross buns

We've had the mad weather too. 5 mins ago it was snowing now the sun is splitting the skies, its beautiful. Bizarre.

tia - have added you to the weight loss list, good luck :) Bra-wsie it has to be Rigby and Peller for me, they cost a FORTUNE but ones to fit me from the likes of M&S or Debenhams cost over £20 anyway and I'd rather have one AMAZING one than 3 hopeless ones. I first got a Rigby and Peller one for my wedding and wore it for about 2 years, it gave me the most amazing shape ever, looked like I'd lost about a stone.

Jill - really stupid question but do Rigby and Peller have any shops outwith London or do you go to London specially for your bras? I really need some new bras but there's no point in buying any while I'm losing weight.

With Easter Eggs it depends. We had Easter Lunch/Dinner yesterday, Saturday, so thats when DD got her eggs. It just depends on what the family are all doing and as Easter Monday isnt a bank holiday for some of the family, its better for us to meet up on Saturdays. We used to do it years ago on a Sunday when Monday was a bank holiday. Funnily enough my BF who isnt religious at all gave me and DD our Easter pressies this morning.

Question for pigpen
Do you make your 16yr old do any work outside of the house, just panicking because I've got laddo (15 nearly 16) some work for the holidays with his grandad and now feeling guilty as he's being picked up at 6.10am a week mon

Yep!

He is chief pot washer in a restaurant on weekends and some evenings and basically whenever they ring and scream help... he gets a bus into the next village (about 15 minutes) and then a train to the next town.. all by his big self!!

Mine actually loves it.. he works with my brother (18)

I think it is really important for them to experience the work environment and while mine is an absolute !!!!!! at school he is fine at work.. if he pees about he won't get paid and I refuse to subsidy most of the activities he chooses to do.. it has definitely been great for my son.

I just think on.. if he had been born this coming August he could be in a full time job by the age he is now!! .. my hubby was in a full time job at DS1's age... and almost a daddy.. not that I in any way condone the latter!

Now stop feeling guilty.. he'll love it!

Nicki... She has tonnes.. lucky girl.. mine have 3 medium sized ones each. Isn't she a sweetie too.. very pretty!!

We have half a room emptied!! ... I AM BOOOOOOORED!!!

First lot has gone in the loft.. second lot will be done in a bit.. we have hit that point where nothing is definite it is all little bitty bits that I just want to throw out.. but you have to sift through the whole lot in order to make sure you don't throw out vital parts for bigger toys.. *scream* .. and all those boxea of junk you move 'out of sight' when you have visitors and christmas and birthdays... I am on the verge of tears just thinking about them!!

You're right I think he will and he is only doing it for the holidays to earn money for his £600 school trip  , he also thinks his grandad is hysterical, altho he might see a different side to a 70 year old working for a marquee company in the cold, wind and rain!

And the Littlemeister has finished her list and is having a J2O to celebrate.

Best I go do some more ..............

Happy Easter everyone!!

I got a lovely ceramic Percy Pig from M&S from my BF. He's just lovely and me and DD have just fed our pennies into him.

Right, time for the pub. See you all later xx
• :shhh: DH has nipped off to B&Q - I am supposed to be doing "something" in the garage. Too cold - so I thought I should pop on and say :hello: to everyone here!

I hope you are all having a happy Easter (or break) and hugs for those in need.

There is plenty of Pineapple upside down cake to go around (plain scones, cookies and apricot oatmeal bars) Although I am finding it really hard to get back into cooking "proper" meals  I seem to have forgotten how to plan in advance... misson for next week supper on table at the right time :rotfl:

OK better get back to it, catch you all later ;)

Happy Easter All,

A bit of a catch up since yesterday. I went off on a mission and did rather a lot. Then saw the time and flew out the door for a bit of a girly night at a friends, which was great. Takeaway, wine and a good chin wag. Then today in between a Monty Python Marathon (back to back DVDs) i have sucessfully done the following...

Kitchen - Still a mess as in the middle of cooking a big stew / sausage casarole and big soup as a load of us are off to Point to Point tomorrow and thought it would keep us warm. BUT....
Wiped all cupboards inside and out. Wiped down worksurfaces. Cleaned out fridge.
TO DO .... Wipe applicances, clean out microwave, wipe over oven (still clean from last time i used it) and then clean the floor :o

Bedroom - Emptied 1 lot of cupboards for the BF and moved some of my hangy things to the spare room. Got rid of a bin bag of carp and a bag of clothes for charity shop. Wiped down everything. Sripped and washed bed.
TO DO... Hoover. Re-make bed before 6pm!!!

Spare Room - Sorted out all my issue army stuff to take back. Cleared some space under the bed. Cleared some space for more of his stuff.
TO DO.... Hoover Floor

Lounge - destroyed dumping everything
TO DO... Put everything away. Wash rug and throws. Wipe down sides. Empty fire. Hoover

Other stuff done.... 3 Loads of washing - none to do apart from above. Washed all the windows inside and out. Sorted out bowls, cutlery, mugs and cups for tomorrow. Wiped down front and back door. Tided Airing Cupboard.

OTHER TO DO...
Clean bathroom when i have a shower later. Get things ready for tomorrow.
Ooooh Aimee, exciting stuff!! Its taken me months to clear out a drawer for my BF. Does he become a DP or OH once he's moved in? :D

AIMEE!!! Moving in!!!! Are you MAD!!! :rotfl: good luck!!!

The story is hes just been fired. So hasnt got a reason to live in Norfolk. Most defence based jobs are where i am. So I possibly stupidly said if he wanted he could move down here as it would be cheaper for the both of us. It will be the make or break.
So yes I'm mad. And we will see if he becomes OH or DP or just a PITA ! :D

Right i must go do the other bits.

Have a good rest of Easter Sunday everyone and will see you later.

Axxx
