Morning everyone, not much done here yet.

Found Bart's leg in the hedge :j hopefully we can put it back on, it most have been some wind to take it off.

DD and DS1 at sunday school and staying on for the church service so a bit of peace and DS2 is drawing a picture.

DS1 got up this morning and said the easter bunny didn't come , i don't get it does he think it's like santa? All i remember about easter was getting an egg and going to my aunty's for rolling hard boiled eggs down the field and a bit of a BBQ then throwing rotten eggs at each other:rotfl: smelly. So i gave up on what he's talking about anyone know?

Right gonna put another load in the WM and see what i'm making for dinner.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Happy Easter Everyone :D

Moi, flirting, sheesh, what do you take me for :rotfl:

Solway, big hugs, thought you'd been busy, is that your little nephew on the photo?

Soappie, I could eat them for you if you like, I didn't get any :( just aswell I suppose as it sticks to my bum and hips :o I haven't had one of my own for about 8 years...

Well we don't have much snow here but DPs car was covered in it this morning because he'd had it parked at his bosses house a few miles away last night and they had snow there, so it kind of stood out this morning as the only car with snow on :rotfl: Clouds are still looming here but I think that will be rain, maybe for a change we now live somewhere which doesn't get bad snow?

Right, washer load on with the boys sheets, which I will no doubt have to drape around the house, meat defrosting for dinner (left over roast topside :) ) DP not working until at least 7pm according to his note so left him in bed for now as it was something like 5am when he got in. I need to empty the dishwasher next while washer is finishing.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Morning all

Didn't have enough washing for a load today - can't remember the last time that happened! DD2 is back from holiday tomorrow though so that won't last long.

Roast dinner roasting, only chicken breasts. There's only the two of us today so that will do. I found a Birds trifle mix in the cupboard left from Christmas so I've made that up. No Easter eggs here. I always say they're a waste of money, and then wish I had one.

We've had rain this morning, then a little sun but it's clouding up again now. Still cold.

Other than that, not much going on.

I thought all the big shops had to shut by law today so I should check before you go out Michelle.

I was woken at 8am by Tiddles SCREAMING.. she was on her way up to me so I let her finish her walk.. she was absolutely naffing freezing.. her little hands were blue and obviiusly really hurting.. so I slotted her in my bed. At 8:25am.. I was woken again by another screaming child.. apparently the next 2 up wouldn't let her do 'the nose'.. WHAT???

The 4 little ones (3, 5, 7, 9) had got up at 7am.. got dressed (tshirts and thin trousers.. no socks.. no undies .. no coats.. ) And gone out in the garden to make snowmen.. The older 2 were soaked through and freezing the the little 2 were screaming with pain and cold.. so we haev had WW3, 4, 5 & 6 here today.... little gits...

They are bundled up and sent off to church this morning.. they can have eggs when they get back! Boiled ones.. ROFL!!! followed by easter ones!

    More middle room beating today..

Next weeks list will be up later... you'll love it... as promised/threatened there is the addition of a childrens list so they can help.. I don't care if your children are 35.. if they still live at home it is their list.. It has also made your list shorter.. so you do encourage them to help!!

Michelle, DH is just back from a big shopping centre near Leicester and everywhere was shut. He had only gone to collect my new laptop - bit annoying that Currys couldn't say on the website under opening hours or the confirmation e-mail that they would be shut. Have to go and get it tomorrow now and I wanted to play with it today.

DSS2 has just arranged an easter egg hunt for the littles - he even bought the eggs with his own money! Impressive for a 13yo I thought.

I am waiting for the collection of 16 yo's to get up so I clean up the remains of last night. Snow has gone now but the littles have managed to trail most of it through the house.

Good morning and a Happy Easter to you all.

I hope you are all well. I've missed you all and don't expect I'll ever catch up on several weeks of news. Perhaps some kind soul would pm me with any essential stuff.

I'm finally back in contact now with my new laptop, thanks to the nice insurance man (£100 excess and a 10% reduction on no claims).

I've been trying to keep flying but it's not so easy when I haven't got you all to motivate me. The utility room is looking much better as we have replaced our old chest freezer (freecycled) and fridge (still waiting), and put up more shelving, so I've been able to make things much tidier (and easier to clean). DH is off for three days this week, so I'm hoping he'll do some of the lounge decorating. We have to use stabiliser on the lounge ceiling before we can paint, so he's planning to make a start with that.

I've got my sister here for a couple of days and we had a lovely time around Cardiff Bay yesterday. I'm back to work on Tuesday, but have a day off on Friday which will give me a chance to get tidied up after DH (as he never does it properly himself!)

Work has been hectic as we still have 18 sign ups that should be done by the end of the month and have no more names, so I've had to chase head office for info. My line manager is on leave for 2 weeks and left me (?) to coordinate Wales with my sign up/allocations officer, another training officer (my best mate) and a new training officer, so I'm having fun!

Well, I'm planning to fly next week, but I work better sticking to the same thing week after week, (touch of OCD I think, like my mugs hanging in the same order etc) so I will just do my own list and try to keep up with you all.

    Hugs to you all.

    HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

Had a busy couple of days so off to catch up on the thread. DH & DD playing out in the snow and DD2 in bed poorly - she got up this morning with a temperature of 39. Poor little mite. Not had any breakfast and fell asleep at 11. She didn't even get up til 9.30am!

Off to read through everyone's news from the last few days. See you all later. x

Pink Fairy welcome home :D I did post wondering where you were. Sounds like you are making progress even without us all gently persuading you, or kicking you when required :D

luby hope your little DD is feeling better soon x

pigpen, little sods eh :rotfl: oh I remember very well being stuck outside in the snow, couldn't reach the doorbell because I was so cold, little sister was laughing at me through the window, I've hated snow ever since! Oh good, rooms in the usual order, oh bum that means doing the kitchen while the boys are at home :rotfl: best try not to mess the kitchen up too much while I am making dinner. I'll likely not have to do the oven unless I make a right mess with the yorkshires as it's only been used to defrost stuff this week.

Been working through trying to fix some of my 'confessions' really struggling with the current assignment, I just don't understand it :( Will put it away while I do some of the housework tasks and have a break from it I think, then have another look later. It'd probably help if I could find the books from the previous course but I don't know if we kept them and if we have where on earth they are...
One day I might be more organised...........
