  • Hi,

At long last got my b/c after waiting three weeks.

The limit they gave me is laughable, I would probably have preffered if they had refused me, my great 12 months @ 0% is limited to 90% of £280!!!!!

    What a joke!

    1.Income £24k
2.No debt other than 0% cards & mortgage
    3.£280
    4.MBNA £22k, Lloyds £12.5k, FD £10k, Easymoney £10k, Marbles £6k, Beneficial £6k, Cahoot £8k, Halifax £5k, Egg £8k & Morgan Stanley £3k

Have recently closed citi cards £10K, good credit ratings as all card have been taken out over a number of years, never apply for more than 3 cards a year!

Needless to say will be cutting card up straight away and sending back to barclays! >:( >:( >:(

I can go along with Barclays if all those cards are open. You have almost 4 times your salary in unsecured credit available to you plus a mortgage!

Perhaps you are a responsible borrower but it must be hard for them to tell.
  • Hi,

That may be the case however a £280 limit is still pitifull, I would have actually preffered a decline.

Barclays are clearly not wanting to give much free money away as looking at previous posts it's not just me who has been given a low limit.

I have actually called Barclaycard to cancel the card anyway.

    Regards
