I have some confusion on this APR after the 0% finishes

The terms and conditions sent with my form to sign say it will be 13.9%, yet their website is now saying 14.5%.

I think I may get a statement in the next day or so - no doubt there will be a slip saying 'changes to your terms and conditions'.

Not that it matters I suppose - I'll be one of many ditching Barclaycard just before August next year  ;D

    1. Your rough salary - 30k
    2. Whether you have current outstanding debts - 80k mortgage - Tesco £400 - MBNA £600 - Egg - £600
    3. What limit Barclaycard gave you - £540 >:(
    4. Which card gave you the biggest limit and how much - MBNA £12,300
    5. if there are any complications that may skew how relevant this is for others, please note.
Just moved house but on electoral roll, no bad credit history..
  • 1) Salary - approx 13K

    2) Credit cards vary - I have 6 credit cards but only try to use a max of 3 at a time, taking advantage of 0% & low-interest offers. I currently owe just under 6K in total.

    3)  B'Card limit - £1500

    4) Card Provider               Credit Limit              How long

      Egg                            £2000                        2 yrs
      M & S "& more"                 £4000                       9 months
      B of Scot (NSPCC)             £1900                       18 months
      Smile                               £1800                        2 yrs
      Virgin                               £9400                        1 yr
      Beneficial -                        £9500                   ?6 yrs or more!

Virgin offered 0% for 6 or 9 months, then offered me 1.9% when I transferred the balance to another card at the end of that period. Also upped my limit from 7500 to 9400 after 8 months, of their own accord.

Smile refused to increase credit limit recently, but had just increased current account o'draft limit following hubby's job loss. Also go overdrawn every month on my Nationwide FlexAccount.

First Direct - applied for £25 freebie account 2 weeks ago, they've offered me a credit card with £2200 limit, even though I hadn;t asked for it! As B'card is not much, I'll probably go for it & get rid of onw of my other cards.

    Hope this helps!

    I stated my salary as £45k which is roughly correct. I asked to b/t £7k. They gave me a credit limit of £3300 & b/trsfrd £2970 (90%).
